Good central hotel that also has a bar and restaurant for the evening. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Beds very comfortable but I found the pillows to soft and feathery for me so a choice of pillow would be good. Bit pricey for us but then we didn't book it as we had gone with friend's who did...

Me and a friend have just got back from a lovely stay at this hotel! The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. The bedroom was large but very cosy with all the facilities needed. The only thing we could have done with was a larger duvet as it didnt even reach ends of the bed without us in it!...

This was my second time staying in the Radisson Blu 1919 and it was as good as ever. Lovely clean rooms, exceptionally comfortable bed and in a great location, minutes from the town centre, bars, restaurants and the old harbour. The staff are helpful, polite and friendly and if I go back again next year I will be booking it...

I love this hotel, situated perfectly, all the staff were helpful and polite.. Especially Julia at the front desk. Lots of places to eat in the little square. 5 minutes from the harbour. Only fault, be aware if you watch Videos on demand on the TV, it cost 1.800 isk per movie.. The description is a bit misleading. Try the...

Has everything you need but more a boutique hotel. Rooms are warm clean but clinical. Problem with the hair dryer in our room and although we reported it nothing was done and no replacement appeared. Just as well I managed to work round the problem. Other than that the staff were attentive and it is close to everything.

Lovely well positioned hotel, we were fortunate to have a great room and the breakfast was a wonderful start to each day. We found the service good particularly when needing advice and booking trips, and a special thank you to Freyja for all her exceptional help and support it was really appreciated.

The hotel has a good central location and the rooms are well appointed, but our experience overall was poor. Housekeeping mistakes were constant - a cleaning cloth left in our bathroom, a bath towel removed but not replaced, rubbish not cleared, that sort of thing. I rang a couple of times for service with no answer. Had a complete comedy...
