This is in an ideal position in the centre of town walking distance of everything there is to see. Sadly it's a bit tired now especially the reception area, room and bathroom. I didn't think it was worth the prices they charge. In comparison to other Radisson's this didn't even impress. Breakfast had a good all round selection but there...

I booked this hotel because the Hilton was full and expected a much larger hotel with more amenities. It's not very large at all and in my opinion doesn't fit into the Radisson Blu mold. I expected a higher-end hotel with more services. The location was excellent right in the heart of downtown and the decor was very elegant and...

I booked this hotel as part of a package so I did not research it very much before my trip. It is very centrally located close to many restaurants and shops but I don't think it is deserving of a 4 star rating. My room had a severely sloping ceiling so I hit my head repeatedly and I had to...

I traveled to Reykjavik with my wife over Easter 2016 and stayed at the Radisson Blu 1919 for five nights. The building was formerly the headquarters of a shipping line, hence the location near the harbour as well as the impressive facade. The hotel is wonderfully located, Reykjavik is a small city so most things are within walking distance but...

This hotel is well located for down-town Reykjavik and easily accessible. Walk to nearby restaurants, main sights and shopping street(s). This is really important in Reykjavik. That said, the hotel is a little basic for the rates they charge. I had a look at two nearby hotels at similar rates and the facilities and standard of the hotel was significantly...
