Have just returned from a holiday in India and the standard in this hotel would not match a 2 star hotel in India, Charged 1890 euros for 10 nights for accommodation that would not match hostel standards in most parts of the world. Could not leave as money is deducted upfront and is non refundable. There is no regulation of...

So the only good thing about this place is the location. Right beside the Hallgrimskirkja Church and there's is a small food store beside it. Very basic. Staff were friendly, only one couldn't speak English so was difficult to explain we had to check out in the middle of the night. We went self catering because we knew rejkjavik would...

I was first offered a dirty and cold room ground floor, with a door directly on the outside 'garden'. I objected and I was going to leave right after check in. I was then given a room at another place. We had to go via the stairs of the main building, and then over a roof outside, to end up...

There is no mention no lift in this hotel and they didn't show any help for 2 girls of us to move the luggages from ground floor to 3rd floor. Besides, all the towels are so old and water leaking has problems. Very smelly of the toilets. The price is not justified to such lower level of hotel service and...

I feel horrible about writing such a mean review, as the man who checked us in was lovely. I feel like we got the worst room in the place. We booked a double room via Expedia, it was a twin room. Hardly the best start. The room was literally so tiny, there were no wardrobes so we had to live...

We booked our trip to Iceland two days before arriving at the Adam Hotel. Our flight came in early so we were there at 0730, and thank goodness or else we would not have seen what we saw. At 0730 the bus dropped us off at the Adam Hotel, or just under the hotel sign. So we get there and...

The location was perfect, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. The place was a little dated but nothing to worry about. The bed was very small for two - not a standard double and there was no lift. Both points were fine for us but might not be ideal for others. There was a fridge, sink and...

I arrived with a backpack and was immediately yelled at by the a staff member ( the owner i think) for blocking his way. I was not. Then I was told the room would be ready somtime after 2 o'clock, while the booking says check in is at 2. When I pointed this out, I was abruptly told that 4...

We had 3 nights in this hotel. The positive things are that it is centrally located close to the Cathedral. It has shops and cafes close by. The manager and staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. It was warm. The negatives are that the room is about 8x12 or smaller and in that space there are 2 narrow...
