We had great room 507 with fantastic views of the sea and the snow covered mountains. Staff were really helpful booking trips for us and room was well cleaned each day. Continental breakfast was very good. Location of hotel was very good a street away from bars restaurants and shops so quiet at night but everything easily reached.

This hotel could not be located in abetter position. We were here for six days and had a great time - staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was great - home made granola bars with cherries or chocolate chips dependant on who was making them. We had room 507 - the one in the photos - great views - very comfortable.....

We stayed there while in Iceland three nights. The staff is very good, going out of their way to take care of customers (my wife had surgery recently and needed heating pads, ice packs and TLC). The central location is very nice, and a GREAT soup and salad place is across the street (see my review of that) but note...

In m opinion, its a typical European room. Small, efficient, clean, no frills. Had a flat screen tv, two beds, a desk, a chair, fridge and a standing closet. What this hotel has going for it is location; its great. 3 blocks from the harbor and the bus station (where all the tours take off) and one block from the...

Loved the location, staff couldn't be anymore help full. Breakfast ample (pastries, fruit, bread, eggs, cheese, cold meats, cereal, yogurt etc) Clean, well maintained, there was a construction on the side we stayed And after ready reviews before we went was bit concerned. Never heard a thing but we stayed Friday to Monday so not Much work going on, no early start with the sun not...

We stayed in the CenterHotel for 2 nights in December. We went to Reykjavik to go on the Northern Light and Golden Circle Tour so we only looked for somewhere pleasant to sleep. We were surprised of the ideal location of the hotel right in the city centre. The rooms were standard and nothing special but if you want fancy...

Booked the Bus from the Airport, to drop us off at the Hotel, didn't need to really, as Hotel,is just a couple of minutes stroll from GrayLine Offices and Bus Station at the bottom of the same street. (Although slight hill) Same with the day trips, paid to be picked up from Hotel but didn't need to bother, could have...

We stayed here for few days just before Christmas and were a bit apprehensive after reading previous reviews but need not have worried. The hotel is not the most luxurious we've ever stayed in but had everything we needed and is perfectly situated in the town centre, right beside shops, restaurants and bars. Clara on reception was very friendly and...

My husband and I have just returned from our mini moon to Iceland.the hotel staff were lovely and very friendly. The location is amazing! Everything on your doorstep. The rooms are basic but why do you need nothing more in such an amazing country, we were ever in the room. Breakfast was great with a vast choice, we especially loved...

Nature comes out for no one - but it did for us! What a great, diverse county. Reykjavik is a lovely, modern city, well equipped to cater to any traveller. This hotel is ideally located in the city centre, just a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and the harbour. The rooms are clean and cosy if a little rough...
