Just got back to the states from our Iceland vacation. My daughter and I stayed a week in the Luna Hotel Apts. It is located in the city center, which is within walking distance to loads of restaurants and cafes. It is also near the Bonus grocery and a convenience store and café on the adjoining street. A lovely apt....

The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Even though we arrived quite late at night, they were happy to meet us at their office and walk us over to the apartment pointing out coffee shops and grocery stores along the way. The place was perfect for a couple even though it had a spare bed in the bedroom. The extra...

we rented the 2 bedrooms apartment located on the top of the small house. The apartment is nicely decorated and is very cosy. There is a very nice terrace overviewing downtown Reykjavik. The kitchen is well equipped if you don't want to dine out, however there are plenty of restaurants to try out in a 5 to10 minutes walk distance....

We stayed in a 2 bedroom flat in the center of town. It was very cosy, neat and warm, making us feel completely at home. It was spotless and very quiet. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants to enjoy Reykjavik and relax.

Just got back from a 5 night stay in Reykjavik and would strongly recommend the Luna apartments. It was our 1st time in Iceland and Ellert and Omar helped us out with a map and some really helpful recommendations for bars, restaurants, cafés and grocery stores. The apartment was great - really warm and cosy, well equipped with tea, coffee,...

Perfect for a self-sufficient budget conscious traveller. The check-in site is not co-located with the apartments so there is no on-site support. Having said that, there is a number to call for any issues. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all major city sites, great restaurants, groceries and shops. Rooms were clean, small and fine.

We stayed in the Luna Hotel Appartments for a week in December. The reception is seperate to the appartments but the Flybus drops you at reception & we were taken in the early hours of the morning by Omar to our Appartment we were very lucky & got a free upgrade to a large spacious four bedroom "penthouse" appartment. The...

My partner and two daughters stayed in the two-bedroom Luna apartment in Amtmannsstigur for four nights over the Christmas period (22-26 Dec). The apartment gave us a great feeling of being at home. It was extremely well-equipped with everything you would expect to find in a home. The location was fantastic, being very close to the main shopping street and...

I stayed here for three nights in November and had a great experience. The place is small but the use of space is good so it would be comfortable for a solo traveller or a couple. It was handy having the kitchen, even more so with coffee and tea being in the cupboards (an unexpected bonus). The bed is really...

I stayed at Spitalastigur 1 in the Red Room. I liked how it didn't have the hotel feel, it made you feel like you're one of the residents. It is located in a good area, quiet at night yet one or two blocks from the shopping area. One block from Bonus grocery store. Main thing I love about Icelanders is...
