My partner and two daughters stayed in the two-bedroom Luna apartment in Amtmannsstigur for four nights over the Christmas period (22-26 Dec). The apartment gave us a great feeling of being at home. It was extremely well-equipped with everything you would expect to find in a home. The location was fantastic, being very close to the main shopping street and...

I stayed here for three nights in November and had a great experience. The place is small but the use of space is good so it would be comfortable for a solo traveller or a couple. It was handy having the kitchen, even more so with coffee and tea being in the cupboards (an unexpected bonus). The bed is really...

I stayed at Spitalastigur 1 in the Red Room. I liked how it didn't have the hotel feel, it made you feel like you're one of the residents. It is located in a good area, quiet at night yet one or two blocks from the shopping area. One block from Bonus grocery store. Main thing I love about Icelanders is...

We stayed for 4 nights in August. Very close to main shopping/restaurant area. Our stay included the Menningarnott festival (Culture Night) - had a great view of the fireworks down by the Harpa (concern hall). Only disappointment was a lack of laundry facilities - very hard to find a laundromat in Reykjavik (only the Laundromat Cafe and we didn't have...

We stayed 3 nights in October. Our arrival to reception was 8:30am, posted opening was 9am but thankfully Omar arrived at 8:45 to begin our check-in. Our apt was not ready yet so we used that time to wander around town, check out excursion options, find the grocery store and have a bite to eat. By 12:30 our apt was...

We stayed for a 3 night stopover in early September on our way to Europe. I booked Luna based on Tripadvisor reviews. We took the Fly Bus, transferred to a mini bus and we arrived about 1:00 am local time. It was Friday night and the streets were crawling with the famous midnight revelers. We were promptly checked in and...

We recently spent a week in Iceland at the Luna Hotel Apartments and we were very happy with our accommodations as well as with Ellert who is the person we dealt with. Very clean, well maintained, and very close to the action in Reykjavik. We would recommend this place to anyone.

We booked the Penthouse apartment for four people. Our flight was delayed slightly so we didn't arrive at the reception until 12.30am but were met by a very friendly and engaging young man called Elleet who couldn't have been more accommodating. He went through a map of Reykjavik with us and gave some excellent advice that you could only get...

It is well situated in the city centre (and Flybus does pickup and dropoff there). It was also the first time that we had booked an appartment. It was a nice experience, although we had some issue with the key so we couldn't lock the room door from inside. We blocked the door knob with a chair for the three...
