We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was wonderful and very filling! The hotel is right by the ocean and great shopping. The front desk staff are very helpful in booking tours and confirming already booked tours. The room was nice and spacious. The only downside was the bathroom. It was quite small but the pros definitely outweigh the...

Good central location for Reykjavik. Breakfast had lots of choice hot and cold. Lovely bread. Staff helpful. Only criticism room needed a hoover. Lots of bits on carpet. Position was good and we were able to walk to restaurants and the harbour for trips.

We enjoyed our visit. Our room was nice, bed was an it uncomfortable, but adequate. Staff was pleasant and helpful, location was great, right on the bay and close to the main street for shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was free and very good, we enjoyed happy hour, beers were generous pour and 500 krona. Overall good experience.

Most everything was ok with this hotel. THe location is great. The front desk staff were nice. The rooms were small with a slant attic roof, so not ideal for us. The breakfast spread was very nice. The staff in the breakfast room were alittle grumpy. At 2 minutes to 10am, eveything was cleared. Thats fine. But as we sat...

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location in central Rekyavik with sea views. The staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice of cold meats, hot food, skyr yogurt and of course the legendary waffle maker. The staff even had an early breakfast available for us at 4am before we left to catch our flight. There was...

The Fosshotel Baron was basic, clean and very well positioned for everything we planned to do in Reykjavik. The staff were terrific. I mention specifically Josephine and Nora on the front desk, and Sandra in the bar, as they were the ones who were working for most of our 6 day visit. Not to take away from other staff members...

Stayed at this hotel for five nights over Easter 2017. It is basically right on the water with lovely views over the bay, and is also a short walk to the centre of Reykjavik. The breakfast is excellent (which is important in a country where food is expensive), and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Great value and highly recommended.

While transportation and food seems to be expensive, we found this hotel to be both a good value and close to many of the attractions that we wanted to visit. Breakfast is included and was very good. There was both the American style options and the European options. A win, win for us. A short walk up the hill brought...
