Don't believe all of the negative reviews! We arrived a few hours before check in, however the receptionist went to see if a room was available, and lucky for us there was! The room was much bigger than expected and was spotless! Had everything you need for a short break (Kettle, Shower, Microwave, Hob, Fridge). The receptionist was extremely helpful...

We were concerned about bad reviews on this hotel but it was great for the price, helpful staff and a good base. If you want to make the most of your time in Iceland you won't spend much time in the hotel anyways so it's good value for money. It's about 20min walk to the centre but it is a...

Spent 4 nights here with a British Airways holiday, room only. Good price (for Iceland!), free parking outside, free wifi (very good signal), fridge, tea/coffee supplied, 30 minute walk into the city centre. Room was warm, fridge was a bit noisy, curtains didn't close fully and street lights were blazing away till very late, but overall can't complain about what...

My daughter booked our trip via Groupon and we weren't quite sure what to expect, as some of the reviews were not very flattering (I think some reviewers expect a 5* hotel for a budget price!). However, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, our rooms in the annex were beautifully warm and the beds very comfortable; unlimited hot...

Hotel was clean, cheap and cheerful but staff very helpful. Not much more in cost than a hostel but worth it. Thanks to great reception staff for helping us sort our trips! If you need to be in the city centre it's not the best choice, but if you're happy to walk a little or get a bus it's no problem....

We booked through Hotwire so we didn't know where we were staying until after we paid. We were a bit disappointed when we realised it was the Arctic Comfort, as the reviews weren't great and it's not exactly close to the city centre. However, it was cheap and there was nothing wrong with the room. It's a bit tired and...

Prebook your transfer from the airport - worth every penny. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious (3 beds although we only needed 2) good modern shower room which was very clean except shower could do with a bit of a Cillit Bang!! Communal areas are dated and bit scruffy. Fridge spacious so we could keep snacks etc....

I upgraded to Superior but wasn't entirely sure what I upgraded from! However, the room had 3 good beds with a very warm room and a decent bathroom. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. I was impressed with the large cartons of milk supplied in the fridge instead of those tiny miniature cartons on the tea/coffee tray. The...

Quite basic hotel but clean + friendly. You do kind of feel you're in the middle of a trading estate but it meant it was very quiet in rooms for sleeping..no wild night life! All the bus tours know where it is so good for picking up on tours you've booked.

This hotel is basic - if you are looking for a luxury stay then it's not the place for you. If you are using this hotel as a base from which to explore this beautiful country, then it provides everything you need - comfortable beds, warm showers and quiet, clean rooms. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel. We...
