This hotel is in a great location near the harbor with easy walking to all the shops (5-10 minutes), nice restaurant on site, and the in room coffee is excellent (I am a coffee snob). The staff is really friendly and I always appreciate that. Free wife, lots of sitting/lounge space for working and visiting, plus a movie cinema. Great... More

I was booked into this place for 5 nights. The room assigned to me was no bigger than a large cupboard. I am serious about that. In all my years of travel and I stay in hotels about 30 times a year, I have NEVER seen such a room. How can this be acceptable. Anyway I left for a 'proper'... More

Spend over $225 per night and book a "superior" room which cost extra. Yes we could "somewhat" see that harbor (mostly blocked by a very large land dock old ship and mountains were VERY distant), but NEVER stay in room #214!!! It is RIGHT on top on the hotel's bar. You good literally hear the music and the people talking!!!... More

We enjoyed most parts of our stay in this superbly positioned hotel right on the marina with views of ships being painted and repaired. However despite the very creative decor which is right throughout the hotel, it somehow lacks the pizzaz expected. Staff were generally helpful but the breakfast was the most disappointing feature

If you're into staying in a very cool hotel with no regard for cost, then this may be the place for you. It's in a pretty good location at the harbour, near the centre, close to most bars and restaurants. The common areas of the hotel are great - very cool, very unusual. The staff are very friendly. The bar... More

As the taxi drew up I thought we'd made a mistake as it didn't look much from the outside, it used to be an old paint factory. However, the staff greeted us warmly on arrival, despite having to deal with a very awkward checking in guest ahead of us. The rooms are not huge but nicely designed, great bed linen.... More

Although at first disappointed when we could not get our 1st to 7th choices for our two week stay in Reykjavik, we were delighted that we ended up at the IcelandAir Marina. We thought it might be an airline transit hotel, but it was definitely a "character" hotel. We are walkers in our 60s who travel a lot, much on... More

Very nice hotel, modern and fresh. Had a room overlooking working harbor. A little noise when they work on the ships, but no problem for us. Room small but functional. Nice shower and products. This hotel has a restaurant, bar, cafe and other amenities. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There were outlets by the bed. Don't forget your converters and adapters if needed. The service provided by the hotel staff is good. Room was a good size. Bathroom was small but plenty adequate. Had nice views of the marina from the room.
