There was 7 in our party and unfortunately we were split up, 1 x 2 people & 1 x 3 people were in the main building and 1 x 2 people were in the other building! Not a great start but we got on with it because we didn't want it to spoil our weekend away! The rooms are very...

We visited Iceland for our belated honeymoon and whilst we didn't really pay much attention to the hotel as we booked we were nicely surprised that the lower priced option turned out to be so magnificent. From the moment we arrived, which was earlier than check in, the staff provided customer service at a level above and beyond. The room...

Great hotel with excellent staff. Great central location. Really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was excellent. Close to major attractions in the city. Room was nice and perfect for a few nights in iceland.

Comfy, warm, free tea and coffee. Staff changed our bedding from feather to hypoallergenic when we asked them to, and were very helpful with suggestions of affordable places to eat. Quite central and within walking distance of most places of interest.

Firstly Hotel is situated in great location right opposite Cathedral with short walk to shopping area and lots of restaurants. Hotel bedrooms are very basic but functional with TV only having 3 working channels and BBC with no sound (problems with antenna which is being sorted this year). Towels are changed daily. If your expecting 4stars then forget it but...

A great hotel, perfect location, good room. Impressive breakfast, although the room was a little cramped. Very impressed by Vittorio on reception, nothing was too much trouble, very attentive, great sense of humour and all around helpful.

This hotel is really central and great for all the trip pick ups. Opposite the church which dominates the whole town so you can always see how to get home. Rooms are small and a little basic but clean and bright. Rest of hotel makes up for it with free tea (proper tea) and coffee all day and night. Cafe/breakfast...

My husband and I arrived at the hotel after a long flight, and we were offered breakfast as soon as we arrived. The staff were very friendly. There was plenty of options to choose from on the breakfast buffet, but the eating space was a little compact. The room was clean. It was small, as was the bathroom. It was...

Hotel was ok, disappointed with beds not made properly one day, sheets and pillows just thrown on bed and bathroom floor had not been cleaned. Hot drinks free round the clock which was great considering how expensive Iceland is. Breakfast was plentiful but maybe the hotel could get extra toaster!

We stayed in the Leifur Eiriksson this week, the location of this hotel is fab. We had a room overlooking the church which was an amazing view. The room was small but had everything we needed. Housekeeping came everyday to make the beds, change the sheets and towels. The reception is 24 hours which was nice after a long trip...
