Small friendly hotel opposite beautiful church. My wife and I were booked into a top floor room accessible by stairs, due to a leg injury I found them difficult to climb, the reception guy Vitiorio was more than helpful and moved us to a second floor room he was friendly and gave us good advice on things to do around...

Great location walking distance to shops, restaurants and sculpture museum. Nice breakfast is included. We especially liked being able to relax with a choice of drinks after sightseeing in the lobby area. Room was small but kept nice and clean. Front desk staff were very helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Three nights at this lovely little hotel. Small/ clean/ functional rooms. Think rooms in annex slightly larger. Plenty of breakfast and complementary tea/coffee/hot chocolate all day. Friendly helpful staff. Good location for all of Reykjavik. Did walking tour, hot springs and northern lights (not lucky enough to see lights as too foggy) and booked private tour (6 of us) for...

We were a small group of 4 friends on a long weekend break. The hotel is nothing special but is a great location to start from. The rooms are OK, not spacious but OK for a short break. The staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast is good in the communal area next to the reception, again nothing special...

Good central location and fairly clean - the only plus points for this "hotel"! Staying here at present unfortunately, staff are really rude and unhelpful, rooms are like cupboards and in desperate need of decorating and clean carpets, bathrooms are basic to say the least and the smell from the drains when you turn water on is horrific, it is...

We stayed at the Leifur Eiriksson for five nights, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming, the hotel was clean and tidy with a very nice feel to it, we stayed in a room on the 2nd floor 202, this room overlooked the church and was a really nice touch. The room was just enough with an en-suite shower room,...

Just stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Lovely hotel in a central location. Nice well maintained with friendly staff. Iceland is very expensive and the hotel provides free tea and coffee which is a absolute god send. Unless you've experienced this you won't know how good this is. Breakfast is included which is buffet style and sets you up...

I've stayed at this hotel three different times over the past five years. I mostly stay outside of the center of the city, as the activity level in the center is rather high. But it has spectacular views of Hallgrimskirkja from the breakfast room as well as the front rooms (because of my returning status, Peter gave me a top...

Delightful family run hotel in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is basic but there is enough of it to keep you going. We were in room 401 which was clean but not overly warm. The only problem we had with the room was due to being high up the noise of...
