My BFF and I were a little concerned with the amount of negative reviews about this place and of the owner. But we were on a budget and went ahead and booked this place anyway. We were pleasantly surprised. We arrived in Reykjavik quite early in the morning and got to the hotel by 6AM, our reservations did say the...

Quite well located, 10minutes walk from main streets in Reykjavik. The accommodation is just poor...border line ! We got a family room, 2 people, bathroom is outdated, almost not usable as it looks dirty. The kitchen is from another age...maybe the 60s. All bulbs on table lamps were out. The room is looking like a hospital room.... Don t forget...

Pros: Located <200 m from BSI Bus Terminal (buses to airport and day tours). There's a gas station across the road with Subway, Serrano and Nesti store (open 24X7). Walkable distance (<1 km) from downtown Reykjavik and major attractions (Halgrimskirkja church, Sun Voyager, Concert Hall, etc). Cons: Uncomfortable beds and chairs in the room. Did not feel welcome as it...

No one at the place to let us in. Pictures is nothing like the real thing. A lot of noise. But worst of all, hostile staff who had nothing but mistrust on there mind!! Don't stay here, even if it's just for a place to sleep.

Me and my husband were worried after reading all the bad reviews we thought about changing however the location was brilliant, room was basic but it was enough for us. Holes in the bed sheets as stated by someone else, one hair drier kept at the main desk for all to share. When we arrived the owner greeted us drinking...

My family (2 adults and 2 kids) and my parents stayed here during February half term. Was dubious due to reviews on here. It was brilliant! Our room was the family room. Absolute God send whilst staying in expensive Reykjavik. Lovely little kitchen with stove and microwave. Immaculately clean. Really comfortable beds. Fabulous night sleep. The owner and staff had...

The hotel is located incredibly close to the bus station and within walking distance of the city center. The staff is very friendly, the linen, room and bathrooms were clean and the breakfast was correct.

First thin's first. You could NOT get a better location. Everyone will need to get a coach from Keflavik to Reykjavik if they are not renting a car and this property is 3 minute walk from the coach station- it could be seen from our window. Also, many excursions depart from the station and only 10 min walk to centre,...

We arrived tired from travelling and was told we couldn't check in til later in the day and we had to go across the street to the bus station to store our luggage there in thier lockers. When we did go back at the specified time to check in, the door was locked and a sign said to call a...

Guest house was basic but clean. Our room shared a bathroom and that was fine. The heating was always on which was great for drying clothes. Breakfast a bit basic but ok. The owner was a bit dour and hardly spoke. We stayed here because it was a 10 minute walk to the city centre and 2 minutes to the...
