I book this hotel for the reason it had a spa. Got an email 1 week before to say its under construction.. didn't get offered our free pool voucher to compensate. Also there was a nasty bug going about ( not hotels fault ) but at least they could put soap in the toilets For the money nope not worth... More

Arrived early in the morning. The 1st person checking me in said no rooms available, luckily a more experienced person checked me in and found a room. Well the room is clean and comfortable, but run down. I was very disappointed in the condition of this hotel. The days in I stayed in a few nights ago in Florida was... More

I have stayed in several Radisson hotels around the Nordic countries and Scandinavia and found them to be everyting from ok to fantastic. I am sorry to say that this hotel however is the black sheep of the chain. CHECK IN: Check-in took almost an hour due to a long que and what I guess was an inefficant system. Every... More

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was a Saturday and there was a wedding going on so it was a very noisy night until around 2am. No biggie because we were up late anyway. Check in was quick and easy. The room was nothing special. Very plain and fairly clean. We had a king bed that had 2 comforters... More

Stayed here 4 nights as part of Gate 1's Northern Lights package over Thanksgiving weekend with 13 year old granddaughter. The hotel is exactly a one mile walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Pros: the hotel is close to downtown. The lobby is huge and this is important if you arrive early morning and rooms are still occupied by previous... More

We are checking out of this hotel and firstly the positives the location is ok, in the quieter part and 15 minute walk to the centre. They have wifi although it wasn't a great signal or fast enough to use to book tours. On that note don't use the tour shop in the hotel it's more expensive than booking online,... More

This hotel was basic enough for a 4*, the windows were old & draughty but it was a great location with only a 10min walk to the city centre. The breakfast buffet was by far the best part of our stay, huge variety of food & drinks & plenty of very helpful staff to assist if needed. The bar was... More

We stayed here as part of a tour package and generally it was okay. We had booked a twin room and asked for it to be next to our friends who were travelling with us, but they put us in a double room on the other side of the hotel and on a different floor! Reception couldn't move us until... More

Let's start with the positives - and the positives are really good: 1. I was booking with hotel points - there were no standard rooms available for the duration of our stay and I didn't have enough points for 7 nights in business class, so I booked 6 nights business class and one night standard but was not keen on... The Saga is obviously a hotel that has been around for quite some time-the building itself looks good but all of the furnishings are well worn. Be that as it may, however, the hotel still makes a good showing for itself. The restaurants, especially breakfast, are first class and the staff are excellent. It is a great compromise for price...
