Arrived at the hotel and found that our sheets were dirty and also had other peoples hair on them. Called reception to complain and was given sheets and quilt covers so i can remove all the linen and replace the new ones myself. Mind you one of the 'new' quilt covers was torn. Bathroom is very small and has a...

Pros: Very clean rooms. Clean white linens. Close to the main shopping/dining areas and some very important landmarks like the Cathedral. Quiet at night, feels very safe walking around. Amazing breakfast spread, fresh and tasty and plentiful. They let us check in early at about 11 which was a godsend as we arrived at 5 am. Very close to the...

Although the rooms and bathroom are very small the staff here are wonderful and very friendly. Breakfast in the morning is great, take advantage of this as restaurant prices are very high. Just down the street is a very nice little coffee restaurant again run by great people. Also just across the street try the Resto restaurant, intimate and wonderful...

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean hotel and comfortable bed. About 15 minutes walk to restaurants and bars, and the city centre. Parking on site. Downside shower was teeny tiny but lots of hot water ( sourced from the thermal springs...watch your jewellery!)

I was in this hotel at the beginning of March and just a week after they had a giant snowstorm so the streets and sidewalks were a bit slippery. The room was small compared to standard rooms in America but average to big compared to those I've been in while in Europe. The room was very clean and staff was...

We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is ideally situated close to the centre of Reykjavik. The tour companies pick you up from the hotel. Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. Breakfast was good- self service with a good selection of hot and cold food. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone doing a...

We stayed for 4 nights as part of a package tour. Even though we were "delivered" to the hotel earlier than their prefered time, we were immediately allocated our rooms. The room was very pleasant and clean, the bathroom was quite small and is in effect a wet room, beware the hot water it is geo-thermal and extremely hot and...

I stayed at Fosshotel Lind on my own during a stopover in Iceland. The hotel was very affordable, compared to all the other hotel prices and was in a very good location. It wasn’t too far from town centre, the famous Hallgrímskirkja Church, and bus station. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Loved that the heated towel rack was...

We stayed here for 3 nights. This is not a 5 star hotel. So don't expect 5 star. However it is clean, In a great location, close to everything yet quiet. And safe. The beds were comfortable. Rooms are small. However we spent no time in our room apart from to sleep so you don't need any bigger. Breakfast is...
