We arrived at 8 clock in the evening and it was extremely cold outside, as soon as we checked in and went into our room we noticed the heating was not working, we immediately told reception but he said he could not fix it then so gave us an electric heater which was quite noisy when you trying to get...

Breakfast was the norm for continental, very nice. The room was excellent, very spacey, warm, comfy beds. Lift to all floors, we were in a luxury room on third floor. It could have done with doing evening meals. There are restaurants in the Main Street and Harry's just next door. Good location for the city.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is situated a short walk from Reykjavik high street. Rooms were warm and comfortable, lots of hot water breakfast service and selection was excellent. The reception area also doubles as the bar and it is very small I think that the hotel should open up part of the restaurant area to use...

Thank you very much for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed our breakfast buffet. The breakfast room is also used at night for the guests as a sitting area, maybe that was not very visible at that time. We are all very happy that you mentioned our friendly and helpful staff. We are in the hospitality to please...

Stayed at best western in March 2014. Room was cosy and warm, staff very informative and friendly. Breakfast was fine, lots of toast and cereal. We had hoped to return last March 2015 but my friend Elaine's husband was very ill, but thankfully we are staying here on March 16 for a week. So looking forward to it and hope...

The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was very substantial. Everything from bread, cereal, fruit, herring, tuna salad and cottage cheese to scrambled eggs, sausage and cooked beans. Something for everyone. Also many coffee options. The staff was outstanding and helpful. They helped find appropriate tours, called venues when we had questions. I can't say enough about their professionalism...

When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed and directed to our room which was a very basic twin room. We went and asked whether there were any doubles left, we were then shown to a very well presented (freshly decorated) room on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. It looked lovely but still smelt of...

Our party of 6 stayed at the Best Western, which is well located just a short walk from the centre of Reykjavik (although most places are only a short walk from the centre!) in January 2016. First off, we arrived very late at night and the staff accommodated our out of hours check-in without complaint and the look of the...

Excellent location, literally a road away from main street, all the tours pick up from the hotel, clean, warm, decent breakfast, friendly staff. Not fancy, but it's a 3 star hotel so if you want fancy book a 5 star. We had to leave for our flight at 3.15am and they put breakfast on for us. Room was always cleaned...
