The staff is very nice. The rooms seem like a step above a hostel. They are clean. TVs just dont' work at all. Any everyone in hotel is complaining about it. The staff at front desk has no idea what to do about it. The dinner buffer is ridiculously overpriced and if you are from outside Iceland you probably will...

Our room was very clean and the cleaners made beds every day. The hotel located very near everything. The service in the bar and reception was wonderful and they really took everyone individual. The best what I have never met, was, when we were leaving home at 4.00 AM they asked if we like to have breakfast! I was amazed...

I am currently staying at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location is reslly good, we're 5 mins from city center, and 15 mins from the big shopping mall "Kringlarne" - all by foot. So that's great. The decor is 80's Miami-like, which is to say peach colors, etc. The TV has only icelandic channels,...

Stayed here in February with 2 others for a family break. Ideal location just a few minutes from the city centre. The reception staff were very polite and offered excellent advice on things to do and services available. Rooms were clean and cleaners were very friendly. Breakfast was decent with a wide range of things on offer including several breads...

I stayed in this Fosshotel in Reykjavik for three nights and although the location was great, the room was pretty small and the bed was uncomfortable. The walls were really thin so I was woken up every morning with the sounds of people in neighbouring rooms talking / going for breakfast etc. I wasn't overly impressed with staff - two...

We stayed in the newly furnished building which was very modern and clean. Bed & shower are very comfortable and I enjoyed having a dip in the bath. The location is quite central and you can easily walk to the nearby Laugavegur Street for lots of shopping or food. Breakfast spread was ok, nothing impressive but that's fine.

The location is good, the beds were comfy and we enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. If we return to Reykjavik, we will definitely check their prices and return if the value remains high.

I found this hotel perfect for our stay. Hotel is very central, few mins walk to beginning of shops, bars & restaurants. Room was big enough with a comfortable bed, good bathroom and was very warm. Nice big flat screen tv and kettle also in room. Breakfast was fine, something for everyone to enjoy, the only problem was the breakfast...

I found it difficult to put either three or four stars to my experience in this hotel. I'd give it four stars because of the bedroom, the ensuite and cleanliness of the hotel, which all were at a very high standard. It is a simple hotel with the essentials, and a decent sleeping experience and the breakfast variety was good...

We were given a room in the renewed building and it was really good, very big and modern. If you have a car, there is an internal parking opened by the receptionist 24/7. Breakfast was rich and very good. Perfect if you want to visit Reykjavik on foot.
