My wife chose this hotel above others for our business/Northern Lights bucket list trip and what a choice. We were flying in late for our middle-of-nowhere cabin so wanted an overnight stay. This hotel oozes class, the reception was subtle and friendly, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite however all rooms have the wow factor. Although we only stayed...

I couldn't decide between an Air BnB vs. a hotel. I'm so glad I picked the Residence Hotel. The staff answered all my emailed questions almost immediately, and were so helpful during my planning process. We stayed on the first floor (down one small set of stairs). The room was small, but never felt cramped. Very clean, bed extremely comfortable....

Fantastic Place, really friendly, well placed to walk around the tiny capital city. Warm, clean, breakfast on your door each morning. The perfect place to pitch for your Iceland experience. The staff were so lovely and speak good English. If you need to sort any excursions or need some tips about local places, they are very happy to help

We were 2 couples using Residence hotel as a base to explore Reyjkavik for a week, as well as taking off for an overnight tour and then another 2 nights in country Iceland. So, it was a bit of coming and going. The staff could not have been more helpful, holding excess luggage while we were away for those days,...

I was blown away at the level of service at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel and Suite. We had originally booked in the Hotel, but was upgraded at no charge to the Suite. The rooms were very nice and clean but the real highlight was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, professional and really a great part of our 5 night...

I visited Iceland on a solo trip and Reykjavik Residence quickly felt like a second home! The staff are very helpful, the rooms are well equipped with food & essentials and the location can't be beat. I exchanged several emails with the staff prior to check in its various questions I had. Responses were super prompt and they went out...

I originally reserved two nights here - we were set to arrive in Reykjavik at 6 am and the hotel offered us immediate access for a half day's rent which turned out to be a God-send. Our room was cozy and comfortable with a very small kitchenette (which was extremely useful and fully functional - fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker,...

I knew we would receive exceptional service even before we left Canada. I checked the Trip Advisor reviews, which were superlative, made the reservation at Reykjavik Residence online and wrote to ask them a few questions. It was late at night in Reykjavik but I received an answer within minutes. The lady, Kasia, was so welcoming and helpful, I felt...

There have been many wonderful reviews of this hotel but you never know if you will like it. I did. On a rainy, windy visit to Rekkavik I was glad I did not pick a hotel down in the harbor. Beds were VERY comfortable, kitchen well stocked with anything you need, great breakfast basket and extremely accommodating and helpful staff....

This was our first day/night in Reykjavik and we were happy to have booked this hotel. Our flight arrived at 4AM and after touring the city for a bit, we were pleasantly surprised to get a much needed early check-in. We also were upgraded to a beautiful large room. Few minutes walk from all bars and restaurants, the place was...
