The price is right but it's definitely just a place to crash for a night. It's really noisy, a bit rough around the edges and lacks any charm. If you're a light sleeper, I definitely wouldn't recommend.

As for the location, it is good, a short walk from everywhere. Nothing to say about the self check-in, a bit unpersonal, but there is no need for anyone to be always around. Nevertheless, that was always the case: never was anyone around. Well, people...More

Really good central position, at a good price for icelands rates. Very small shared bathrooms, room a bit cold. We have never seen the owners, if you need something you can only talk to them by phone.

Hello Matteo. If you need something we're always around. By phone, e-mail or in person every noon. We pride ourselves with short response time. All rooms have radiators, you simply have to adjust by turning a knob from level 0-7 to your desired temperature.

Cannot complain for the price. Used as base for a bed and bathroom. The guesthouse had easy to follow instructions for checking in/out. The room was tidy, with clean fresh bedding & towels. The shared bathroom was as clean as a shared bathroom can be...More

Dear cloudyice :) Yes, there are some parking spaces right outside, and also for free. They are quite limited though. Worst case scenario is to park your car next to the church Hallgrímskirkja and walk from there. It's 60... More
