Reykjavik is a beautiful town which is easy to get around. English is widely spoken and the locals are friendly. Be aware it is very expensive to eat and drink! Meat particularly, even bacon and ham. Follow the happy hours around town and you'll do well. The free newspaper Reykjavik Grapevine available at the airport will show you where to...

My partner booked this trip for my 30th birthday, and I can confidently say it was the best holiday we have ever been on. we flew with Iceland air - best plane we have been on yet! we had great seats with lots of room, our own TV, and northern light moodlighting for the journey. Our hotel was very well...

We stopped just before Christmas for four days as part of a Telegraph travel trip. The hotel is in central old town, it was great, small and very convenient, lovely big comfortable beds . Well equipped rooms, we didn't have breakfast as our trips left early. The staff were so helpful, checking trips for us and chasing down the road...

This Hotel in the centre of Town is a very modern and really rather splendid experience, Some Friends on a lower floor complained about noise from the street but we slept soundly and our room 415 was wonderful.

Nice room. Staff. Convenient loved the ice machine. Helped us book tours. Happy hour nice. Enjoyed our stay little are to purchase food items was convenient . Walk to Al the central area. Next door fish market restaurant was fabulous. Can't lie prices in Iceland are high high high.

Central location; good for shops. Pleasant people and staff. Slightly smaller than average room. Good restaurants but very very expensive. 20% off for residents but still high cost. Most had baps, scones soup inn the room and other means to supplement the breakfast; which was good. Tours were good.

Nice place to stay. Situated within walking distance from the city center. Very comfortable beds and well equip self service kitchen. We loved the breakfast but the dining rooms was a bit small and placed in a separate building. Apart from this it was a nice place to stay so we do recommended it.

Although this hotel is very centrally located in downtown Reykjavik there are a lot of small and not so small things that made my stay unpleasant. The room is extremely small and faced the downtown plaza. Although it was quiet during the week, I've been told it's very noisy on the weekend (I left very early Saturday morning). The room...

If you are a family and need two bedrooms, this is the place. The apartment is clean and nice. It is situated in walking distance of restaurants and shops. It is a quiet area. The kitchen is really nice; everything you need. Parking right outside the entrance. And the price; not at all bad.
