Hotel Berg in Keflavik was the cutest, coziest hotel ever. For the price we paid (I think 90 euro a night?), the accommodations were really nice. It's not often that the room looks better than the photos of it, but this one did. It was a pretty big room, with a big bed and nice big windows looking out onto...

+ Comfortable beds and excellent quality bedding. Apart from the eggs, the rest of the breakfast choices were great, fresh and plentiful. Even had waffles! Early breakfast was 3am - 7am and then breakfast was 7am - 10am. Sparkling clean throughout whole of the property. Beautiful communal space. It was a proper living living room area, a common room just...

We loved our stay at the Hotel Berg. The beds were just right: not too hard, not too soft. And the pillows were heavenly. Very quiet. In fact, I have not heard this level of quiet for decades. Mind you, it's winter. But still, enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved having in-room temperature control. The full breakfast was so...

Pleasant location on the edge of the harbour, short walk into town and a short drive to the airport. The hotel lounge is peaceful, with an open fire - like a welcoming living room. Despite all the comings and goings the place still feels relaxed. You don't hear the airport which is virtually next door. We had the light breakfast...

We booked this hotel for the last 2 nights of our 7 night stay in Iceland. We arrived mid afternoon, and the hotel appeared eerily quiet and deserted (a bit like the hotel from The Shining!). This was an unfair first impression of the hotel though as it was simply a very quiet and relaxing environment. There is a lovely,...

Stayed for one night as close to the airport. Very nice room; clean and comfy. Early breakfast option is a good idea. Would stay again. Nice views; saw aurora borealis at night and first thing in the morning. Free tea and coffee selection available in the lounge. Hot tub, but didn't use it as brief stay only. Welcoming staff; can...

Needed to catch an early flight out and this was the perfect place to stay, Charming, cozy, very friendly attentive staff member who checked us in that night (after our 3 hour float in the nearby Blue Lagoon!). He was up preparing the yummy included breakfast the next morning and drove us to KEF in the hotel shuttle car. The...

Based on where we staid in Iceland I could give this hotel 5 stars but for me 5 should be 5. It is conveniently located - near an airport and 25 mins to a Blue Lagoon. Family run with very friendly people. Rooms are spacious based on Icelandic standards. I would say that I was one of the owners I...
