The "guesthouse" is in a building across the street from the main hotel. Our room was not ready even though we arrived well after our check in time. To their credit, the staff was extremely courteous. Our room was l cramped and the overhead light had an extremely noisy transformer (loud electrical arcing sound every 3 min or so. So...

Very basic accomodations in the guesthouse, but perfect for our needs since we wanted to maximize sightseeing time and only slept there. Shared toilet, shower and kitchen, we were lucky enough to never run into anyone since we started the day early. Price was phenomenal. Amazing value considering that the breakfast buffet is across the street in the main hotel...

This was our last night in Iceland after 8 days. Needed something close to the airport and as cheap as possible ( cheap being a very relative term in Iceland!). check in at the hotel across the street, cross the street, lug your stuff up a long flight of stairs and enter this place. Only a couple of rooms but...

This place was our final resting spot in our trip in Iceland. And we're glad that was the case. We were so tired that we decided to overlook all the bad things about this place. The room was incredibly filthy, the hall outside of the rooms smelled really bad (I imagine that's the fault of one of the guests but...

Stayed for 1 night in the Guesthouse, which has basic rooms, shared bathroom and kitchen. What I expected for £47 (twin room). Only negative about room that has got just 1 socket which is used for the TV. Also smell from kitchen comes into the room a bit. As everybody says, breakfast is excellent and served from 5 am!!!!

We checked in this hotel for our last day in Iceland as we wanted to stay indoors for few hours after our adventurous day. This place is very close to the airport and is convenient if you have a early flight to catch. Even though we arrived quite late and left early, there fully functional reception at such odd hours...

At the check in we were upgraded to the hotel. This was luck of course. The hotel is very luxurious, but the guesthouse also looked nice (from what we saw). Beautiful murals cover the walls. The night was very good. The breakfast was great! This would be the same breakfast as a stay in the guesthouse would get us. Would...

Very difficult to write a review about somewhere I booked, but was upgraded from. Very pleased for the upgrade, like many others who booked here. I can only assume there is work being done at the guesthouse to modernise it, as the pictures I found on other websites were not appealing, but it was one of a few places with...

I booked here but the notice on the front door referred us to the hotel Keflavic reception directly opposite. A truly fabulous hotel. I was over the moon. No additional cost for the best one night stay in Iceland I had. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean beds comfy. Some English TV channels in the room. Good shower. Good WiFi....

The beds are just beds. Room was clean. Maybe a little noisy when the neighbors went to the toilet. Friendly staff, even late in the night. The breakfast in the hotel on the other hand was beyond what we have experienced anywhere else. Great stopover if you land late in the night.
