The hotel is new and clean, with beautiful and modern looking lobby and nice, clean guestroom. We stayed on one weekend, the lobby was busy with locals having gatherings and drinks at the bar. Check-in was easy, although the front desk staff was not friendly, few words and no smile but he wasn't rude either. He did helped to ask...

Wonderful place to stay! Modern, clean & the view from our room was worth a million dollars! The staff was great. The complimentary breakfast buffet was fantastic! This was our favourite hotel on our trip.

We arrived here early and staff suggested a place for lunch, when we returned the room was ready. We had a top floor rome with magnificent views. There is some construction as they are expanding, but it was not noticeable. There is a bar but no restaurant. Breakfast is functional and meant for large groups. The fosshotel chain goes for...

Luxury and excess are not goals Icelanders pursue, which is refreshing. But why does every hotel have cheap laminate flooring? This hotel, slightly above town, strives for absolute modernity and has pleasant enough rooms. But ultimately it's forgettable, like so many others. Come here to sleep peacefully, not to be wowed.

Stayed at the Foss Hotel Husavik as day 7 of my Tour to the Wilderness. This hotel had only been open June 2016 so is relatively new. It is located easy walking distance to main town centre and harbour. Tea making facilities, free wifi ,toiletries but no tissues but plenty of hot water. The room spacious and clean.I found the...

The hotel has been renovated and is a modernistic gem. Room size, configuration, cleanliness and appointment is top notch. The location is close to the harbor which is the jumping off point for whale watching tours. We had a room with a view of the harbor, which is worth asking for when booking. Just a hint, know that you use...

Hotel has new and remodeled areas. Very modern, clean, comfortable. Beds very good, pillows as well. There were large tour groups in the hotel but we never heard anyone. One of our best sleeps in Iceland. Excellent breakfast and perfect service.

I arrived on a wild wet and windy day not being able to face a night camping in such weather. Like many visitors I had been camping to reduce the notoriously high costs of Iceland. Faced with such a modern hotel I was expecting a shock, thankfully the price was comparable to elsewhere in Europe. The reception desk was freindly...

Easy to recognize they renovated recently but it was successful! Rooms are big enough, you have enough space to open all your suitcases, modern and tastefully furnished, big and nice bathroom, internet was excellent, bed was comfortable, huge window with dark curtains. High quality food at breakfast, receptionists were friendly. Free parking in from of the hotel. I recommend everyone...
