Roads were closed and we couldn't physically make it to the hotel - they were not willing to work with us one bit, charged for no stay. We attempted to reach out to the hotel and they were unwilling to have any discussion with us.
Late to the game in booking our lodging - this was what my wife found in Hofn. Crazy expensive, and not worth it. Observations:

The hotel is pretty fine: clean, with a very comfortable bed and the bathroom is fantastic.
As you maybe know, hotels in Iceland are pretty expensive, and this, is not an exception. Anyway, breakfast is good and the price is included.

Really big room with large bathroom and shower.
All in very good condition.
Nice heavy bedroom door from the hallway which helped dampen the noise you usually get from people coming and going.
