My family of 6 stayed in one of the "little yellow cottages", and it was an amazing stay. The area is simply breathtaking with and ocean on one side of you and dramatic mountains on the other. We stayed here for 1 night after going to the 2 glacier lagoons nearby, and it was a perfect place to spend the...

Do yourself a favour and book this conveniently located charming little hotel 5 minutes drive away from the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon.. Heaps to explore around this area and spend a night at Hali Country Hotel just gives you more time to take in the majestic sights of the glacier lagoon. Was also very happy with the quality of the room...

Stayed here in a 2 bed apartment in the yellow house. There were 5 of us in total. Each room had 2 single beds and there was a pull out sofa bed in the living room. Location was quite close to Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon but secluded at the same time. The yellow house looks out over the sea and is...

We stayed here, as many other people did because of the proximity to glacier lagoon. The room was really a triple with two of the three beds shoved together. the room was designed to be easy to clean. No carpeting, headboard attached to the wall, all the furniture easily moved, no bathtub, no shower curtain. Despite the room was comfortable...

We chose this place primarily for its proximity to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. First impressions were positive as we checked into a spotless room right on an inlet to the sea. We ate at the restaurant on the property and paid a very hefty sum for dinner. I chose cod with potatoes and salad which wasn't bad but certainly not...

We booked a triple room (nr 58). When we drove up to the building (red roof and white walls) we got quite a bit of a scare. The building itself looked like an old Barack, there's a shed and some halfbuilt building/house right next to it. Luckily the room itself was clean. + clean room + nice view from the...

Kitchen well stocked. Sleep sofa really a large sofa. Fine for kids or young adults. Our fifth who is in fifties also slept there and was...

Great location to stay at if you’re visiting the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, which is only 10 minutes away. We ate at a great restaurant next door (not our hotel restaurant), and shared a chicken dinner and potato soup which was delicious! The hotel itself is okay. Our room was very basic, which was fine, but it was muggy and smelled...

We drove there very late in the evening and had a pricey dinner at hotel restaurant. In the morning we woke up in a most beautiful landscape you can imagine. Basic hotel with basic services. But I think this is the only hotel in this area so it will do.
