Our daughter lives in Sainte Foy-la-Grande and we wanted a place to stay when we visited her. We'd picked out this hotel online and checked with her about local wisdom. This came out as the best place. They have ten rooms on two floors above the restaurant. We were on the second floor. There are no lifts. However, I think...

Exactly what we wanted--perfect location in the middle of a sweet small village, great food, clean and pleasant rooms. Not a luxury hotel that separates you from the life of the place you are visiting and not a scummy cheap place either. Just perfectly in the middle.

We stayed for a night on a cycling holiday and were made very welcome by the new owners. It looked as if the rooms had been refurbished and they were certainly modern, spacious and clean. Although they were usually closed for dinner on Mondays they provided dinner at the pavement tables for our party of 14 and it was one...

Spotless, budget style, big room accommodation with a very nice restaurant downstairs. Ћ hotel is at Ћ end of Ћ Main Street leading to Ћ market area. Ћ Saturday Market extends down this street. If visiting, try to avoid Sunday's and Monday's as a lot in the town (inc Ћ restaurant) are closed.

We went there following a recomendation from a resident. They was a chalk board announcing "Under new property" so they have been changes around. It was a nice day and terrace was very popular, so we get inside. Decoration, music and temperature were fine. Warm service, we chose the night menu that was composed by 3 starters, 3 main courses...

Restaurant closed. Smell of cigarettes in the hallway. Doors are awfully loud. Can hear everything what's going on next door. Early in the morning (6 am) neighbors on the other side of the street shouting and blowing car horn. Old windows you can see the outside even when it's closed. Good large beds. Just renovated (not even finished) hotel. Spacious...

Even though this restaurant looks from the outside more like a bar, it has nice sidewalk terrace, where taking one's lunch is to be recommended. Guests are welcomed with a free drink, offered by the owner. The chef de cuisine worked formerly at a Michelin-star restaurant, and this fact really can be tasted! We had a 3-course lunch (menu du...

This is a newly renovated restaurant with rooms. The food was varied and tasty. The hotel room was spacious, clean and had a nice balcony. During Sundays and Mondays the restaurant is closed and in our case room cleaning seemed to be closed to. However this was not too much of a problem once we worked out where to eat...
