The guesthouse appeared not quite ready for high season during our stay in May. For example, our bedroom did not have blinds which definitely impaired our sleep given the fact that the sun did not set until around 11 pm and sunrise was at around 4 am. The room was clean but the common areas were disheveled and messy with...

I stayed in a single room on the last night of my stay in Akureyri. The room and bathroom were nice, though pretty small. The shared kitchenette was also nice. Overall, the Hrafninn Guesthouse is a nice guesthouse in a great location. It does however suffer a little in the comfort department due to the limited room size.

Stayed here on night 3 of me and my girlfriend's 9 day trip in Iceland. This stay was a bit like staying in a big home with a bunch of different people. Which isn't a bad thing. We are used to staying in big fancy hotels in big cities, but there was something great about being in a country where...

We were looking for a decent B&B in Akureyri for a 2-nighy stay. I saw this place in Booking.Com and thought it was a good enough deal. I honestly did not have any expectations but was pleasantly surprised at how charming and well-appointed our room was. We stayed at Room 12. It was a beautiful corner room with a great...

An old mansion converted into a small hotel. Down stairs kitchen available for use. Located at the end of the main pedestrian shopping area. Quick check in, nice rooms, centrally located, I would stay again.

The room was large, facing the Street leading into the town. 2 large single beds, lounge chairs and desk. Small bathroom. TV with many channels. No fridge or tea/coffee facilities but you use the communal kitchen on the lower floor. We kept items in the fridge with no worries (even when we left beer in there). The property has 3...

The guesthouse is very clean, and has lovely decorations - lots of wood paneling. I stayed in room 5, which is just at the top of the first set of stairs. The TV didn't work, but I never stayed in the room much anyways. The price was reasonable for 2 nights and it's right next to the main drag in...

Nice place right in the center of action. We called the owner and were met a few min later by a friendly lady who checked us in. We were even allowed to choose our room from the free rooms. Our room had a little balcony, huge bathroom and nice cosy beds. The upper floor is definitely better, lower rooms are...

We arrived at the hotel very late at night and the owner was actually waiting for us. The hotel was very well decorated. The staff are extremely friendly and helpfull. The hotel is located 2 minutes walk to the center.

We stayed one night at this guesthouse. Our room was upstairs and had it's own bathroom. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There's also a small kitchen downstairs that allowed us to heat up some noodle soup for dinner. It was a well equipped kitchen with pots, stove top, kettle, tea selection and fridge. I would stay...
