The service at this hotel was quite good, and all the staff speak English, which is pretty typical in Helsinki. Glo Art touts itself as a former castle, however it was also an education building in a former life, and the flooring in some areas near the stairwells is strangely JUST like school which felt a little industrial. I arrived...

Clean, comfortable in a quiet but easy to explore the city location. Modern room, despite the medieval facade with plenty of art on show Excellent choices for breakfast. Very friendly reception staff member too.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at GLO Hotel Art. The room, a twin, was modern in design and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent but the coffee could have been stronger. The hotel is well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at this hotel every time I've been in Helsinki. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is always included and decent, and the staff are super friendly. There is a sauna, but I have yet to try it. Recommend this place!

We stayed here on our one day layover in the city. This was a 5mins walk to the wharf which had 2 great restaurants to visit and about 15mins walk to the "main" shopping zone. There was construction going on about 500m away but all good, we didn't hear any drillings. What is good to note, there is a fee...

Helpful staff but the interesting furniture, big TVs, artwork and design could not fully disguise a "soviet style" building housing a "students hostel". Rooms are ridiculously small with inadeqate hanging space. Single bathroom light made shaving or make-up impossible. The transaparent glass-sided bathrooms & WC are a major embrassment to many. One room was so noisy at night as gutters...

This was a fantastic find, it was a nice walking distance out of the main attractions and the looks quite historic and medieval from the outside but inside it is well decorated in keeping with the actual plus points of teh building but also adding a quirky twist in its own way. They have a nice area to relax and...

Really nice, clean and stylish hotel. The hotel room was comfortable and quiet. I really liked the breakfast: different coffees, fresh bakeries, raw porridge, fruits etc. I can warmly recommend this Hotel.

When you are in front of the hotel, you can be impressed. Nice, old building. Staff is helpful. The rooms are very small! Especially the bathroom! The bed is real comfortable. Good place to sleep to say it in that way...
