The hotel is well centralized, across from the train station. The decor is definitely stuck in the 50's. My room had a shower problem which flooded the whole bathroom so I had to change rooms the next day. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. If your room is in front of the hotel, you will hear the...

This is an older hotel right in the heart of the city, it is opposite the Train station and bus terminals and is ideal for anyone arriving by train from the airport. Staff speak excellent English, as expected, and are friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size and comfortable, getting a bit tired but still OK and despite...

The location is superb: the very centre of Helsinki. The hotel is amazing, like stepping into a Hollywood film set of the 1950s.The lobby and restaurant are like an Art Deco theme park but it's all original! The staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, could not be brighter or more helpful. The bedroom was utterly quiet. The hotel...

Our Helsinki friends thought this might be noisy because of its location. Not at all! We loved the traces of Belle Epoch atmosphere and quirky spaces. Great location, trams and buses, train station, central commercial district, shops and restaurants steps away, easy walk to notable concert hall complex.

In the hotel Oktyabrskaya, which is opposite the station and the same old, but in St. Petersburg, long ago, the rooms were converted into offices for all sorts of small offices for the manufacture of passports or travel agencies. In Helsinki, they also honor the old days. So much so that hitting the hotel at breakfast, you think that was...

My favourite hotel in Helsinki is the hotel Seuahuone very traditional the staff are friendly smiling and helpful. The breakfast is excellent close to the centre coach and train station. This is the 6th time I have stayed there in the last few years I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Right in the center of Helsinki. Great location, awesome building that is some sort of cultural and historic monument. Great experience at the hotel. Gave it 4 out of 5 as it is a bit worn out inside and needs some refreshing work.

This hotel is located just opposite Helsinki central station. It's takes around 15 min to walk to the port. Room is spacious. Furnishing is classic, especially the impressive breakfast hall. Decoration makes you get a feeling of the age that Russia was ruling Finland.

The hotel was chosen based on its close proximity to the main station as well as the bus and metro stations. The staff is friendly and customer related. We have chosen this hotel as it had a great location for our travels by train. It could not get any better when it comes to the location opposite the station. The hotel is old fashioned but I like hotels with characters. You definitely cannot accuse it of being bland and generic. I loved the old-fashioned lift, even when it...
