Most hotels welcome non-residents to their ready breakfast table which is luxury especially for week-ends and families with small children. We had enjoyed this at Park Hotel Kapyla once before, and decided to go again. The charge is reasonable, 10€/person. During this last visit, unfortunately, and to our great disappointment, the staff on duty must have had really a bad...

notwithstanding I hav been several times at Park Hotel that I know very well and I like and even if i have booked and payed 3 months in advance the reception of the Hotel has given one of the smallest rooms at disposal in the hotel. We have even stay and payed a supplementary day in the hotel.

I spend one night with my family in this hotel with long tradition. Location in Kapyla is great and peaceful. Our room was not so modern but clean and practical. Price level is reasonable. Breakfast was great and personal. Summertime nice garden in the backyard. Also sauna and pool are there we did not have time to check but those...

The location is basically off everything, so interesting that the hotel seems to have quite many guests, maybe since it appears to be family-run and thereby a bit more personal. The rooms are basic, a bit dated, but very clean. Sleep quality fine. Even though Internet access is free, you will only access it via cable in your room. If...

Bad service, out-dated rooms. Although the hotel calls it as a park-hotel, it is situated near very noisy street. The rooms are surely updated in 1980's, but nothing has done after that. Public transportation is also poor. Tram 1 and 1A operate only at workdays and the bus to city takes almost abt 30 mins to city. Taxi costs about...

The hotel is half way between the airport and Helsinki, easy to find. Although we arrived at midnight we were well received and even provided with an extension power cable on request. Breakfast offerings are somewhat limited but adequate.

Stayed here for 4 nights in January... first 2 nights as a twin room, last 2 nights as a quad room Main reason for choosing this hotel was the location that we required, which was fine. I do not think this hotel should be classed as a 4 star.. maybe a 3 star.. The reception area is nicer than the...

We spent 6 nights here during August 12 and had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room was fine and clean, and there was a lift to our floor. The breakfast was excellent each morning with lots to choose from and everything was kept fresh and topped up. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and spoke good English. We didn't...

“I don't know about a good room, however a tip to English speaking travellers. If english is your first language, I would recommend AGAINST going to St Petersburg with the St Peterline ferries, I have never felt discriminated against in my life until this ferry. The staff cannot smile, they are rude and do not care whether you like it or not. Being friendly or pleasant towards them does not help. We were nearly left stranded in St Petersburg because of their error, no apology. On a more positive note, The Super Star ferry to Estonia was brilliant! I think they may do St Petersburg as well, however sadly, the locals of St petersburg weren't friendly either. Maybe it was just us!”
