Good to stay for short tour...I was there for a conference trip. The place is reasonably priced in prime location, and the staff are welcoming and pleasant in behavior. They have printed maps handouts of the City Helsinki which is very useful for any new visitor to the city.

I can clearly recommend the hostel. Only cons are that there are no rooms with bathroom (common washrooms were close by and clean, so it ended up not being a problem, even for our one year old son it was fine). The common kitchen could be better equipped. Apart from that everything was fine!

Good service at reception and nice common areas. I was offered to upgrade to a package deal when I arrived, meaning I got a few extras and breakfast buffet for half price included. Very nice. Close to city center, good information material and helpful staff. Only negative point was a confused caretaker who cleared my bed by mistake when my...

Great cheap alternative for Helsinki. the room was clean and comfortable. Its the typical HI hostel alternative. We booked a private room for 2. The hostel is located from the main city square by a 10 minute walk and it is in a quiet neighborhood.

More than just a hostel - you have to share a bathroom, but that has a nice outdoorsy relaxing soundtrack. The rooms are clean and they offer nice double rooms with TV and lots of privacy. They also have a free sauna in the morning which is a great addition to the hostel. For those used to traditional hostels, this...

We stayed in a private room for 2 person for 2 nights as Eurohostel. We landed at katajanokka ferry terminal after our ferry ride from Stockholm and it's only 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Do buy the 1/2/3 day tram ticket as the Hostel if a bit far from the market square and the main attractions. Fear not...

This hostel is very clean, 2 beds in a room..there is a sauna as well which is included in a price. Location is ok. The city is not so big, so no need even to take a taxi or metro. Also it's not expensive at all for any tourists.

We stayed two nights in Eurohostel. It was great value for money. We could almost see the hotel from the ferry into helsinki so it was very easy to get to! The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well furnished especially considering the price! The bathrooms and showers though shared were very modern and clean. Overall...

I stayed in Eurohostel for one night. I booked quite late so only managed to get a twin room (more expensive than I was hoping). The room had all of the basics, but wasn't very pretty. It was clean as were the bathrooms. I would stay there again.
