We flew out of Manchester on 24th January 2016 to return on 31st January 2016 We booked our whole trip and wedding through "Mighty Fine Travel Company" who were fabulous from start to end! As we didn't have a normal booking (though Inghams/Thomson) etc we had to get a connection flight from Helsinki through Finnair. it was a bit of... More

My Daughter got married in the ice chapel and stayed in the ice hotel for a night and then moved to the Teepee for the rest of our holiday ,while 5 family members bravely stayed in a log cabin with underfloor heating and sauna, not far away. We stayed at the snow village for 4 days and enjoyed every minute... More

We stayed for one night in an ice suite, the room was like being inside of an igloo. The bed consisted of a mattress inserted into a ice bed frame. There was a carving of a large clown on the wall. The room has two areas of rooms, there was an ice chapel for weddings. There were two restaurants off... More

We were a group of 18 colleagues and partners on a 4 day trip and we spent 1 night there which seems to be the average stay according to the staff. Upon arrival, you receive a small tour including an exact explanation about sleeping at - 5° Celsius, rather funny and certainly helpful. They also show you where you can... More

We stayed overnight during our recent visit and it was excellent! I did feel slightly cheated by the clown room after having seen some others. (If you want a room with decorations & carvings you have to pay for a suite) We are in the ice restaurant which was lovely if a little pricey (but the hotel is made of... More

What a special place!! It is unbelievable what is possible to make with ice and snow. Each room has its character and even the corridors are magical. There is a thrilling ice slide too! Great job with the lights as well, that add to the incredible atmosphere in the place. I would definitely recommend spending one night in one of... More

Travelled to the Snow Hotel for a long weekend. Stayed in a log cabin 'Teepee' for 2 nights, then 1 night in a room in the Ice Hotel. An amazing experience which can not be matched. The temperature was -5, but in nice warm sleeping bags lying on a bed made from ice, it was not so bad. Plenty of... More

We didn't stay the night, but went on an evening trip to visit the hotel, and I'm so glad we did, because I doubt we will ever see such an amazing place again. The hotel is built entirely of ice and maintains a steady -5 degrees inside, so make sure you're well wrapped up when visiting. The bedroom suites have... More
