This is a different hotel. Obviously inspired by the TV series Fawlty Towers, it has an unusual interior decoration (piano, moose heads and a suit of armor in one of the stairs). The rooms are alright. Cosy in a special way. Kind of personal. One of the TV channels constantly show scenes from Fawlty Towers. Service is excellent, breakfast is...

PLUS: The position just near the station. The overall cleaning of the hotel. The breakfast was quite nice. The staff. MINUS: It is a bit noisy especially if your neighbour decide to have a shower or watching tv in the middle of the night. The wifi was not working at all. In the room there was a boiler but no...

I really liked the old School look & feel Of this Hotel. Clean, quiet with a Victorian look. Well situated Near the bus & train terminal. Friendly And knowledgeable staff always ready to help. Delicious & wholesome breakfast. Wifi and murals & paintings reflecting a slower paced time when politeness was the norm and horses were used to transport things👌

The hotel is directly situated in front of the main station and one of the main roads in Linköping. The city centre is in walking distance and the reference to "Fawlty Towers" makes a wink to the famous British series, although not much is done to become that rude, clumsy or intriguing as the Fawlty Towers hotel of Basil, Sibyl,...

I have stayed here a few times now when visiting on business. Clean, interesting décor and each room seems to have its own individual character. Slight 'Fawlty Towers' theme but this is not overdone. I have only eaten breakfast here when I have stayed and it is always very good. Very convenient for the main railway station just across the...

This hotel is in vintage style and this gives it a special flavor. Beside the lack of elevator it has everything modern, TV, wi-fi, perfect bathroom. The rooms are very big and everything very enjoyable.

The location is ideal for the train station, which is immediately across the road. The hotel is a large old wooden building, decorated inside in an agreeably ramshackle way. The "Fawlty Towers" theme is fortunately not particularly obtrusive, and the antique-shop aesthetic is affectionate rather than ironic or pretentious. There are some spots of wear and tear, but everything works...

Being built as a hotel already in 1888, Park Hotel (formerly the Railway Hotel), is a hotel as far from your ordinary business hotel as you can possibly imagine. Just calling their hotel "The Fawlty Towers of Linkøping" is evidence that this hotel wants to cater for customers who wants something different and on top of that has a good...

"Mr Fawlty must stop trying to watch me through the window on a ladder, Mrs Fawlty must stop laughing, I found Manual's rat under my pillow, and Polly couldn't stop laughing at me when trying to draw me ... And the Major is definitely a good guy". For those who understands, ;o). For those who don't, go buy Fawlty Towers's...
