The room was poorly soundproofed. The staff was frindly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The restaurant was wonderful. The location was perfect. Many Busstops are in the near of the hotel. We would like come back.

For the money I guess we got what we pay for but the food was not good and a little loud at night. It was also a little far to walk from the underground. The room was lacking ambience. I think if breakfast would have been better our stay would have been better

We stayed here one night recently and it was fine. It is a little way out from the centre but it was an easy walk. Reception staff were pleasant, the breakfast was plentiful, the decor in our room was a little tired.

I stayed three nights at this hotel and liked it in a whole. Actually when we are talking about North Europe we can surely go to 3 stars hotel. Everything will be on the appropriate level. This hotel a but far from centre but, just behind the Airport coach bus stop. It's around 10 min to T (Stockholm metro). It's... More

The location seems pretty far away but it's actually pretty convenient and easily accessible to city by underground or bus. The airport bus (Flygbussarna) also stops right outside the hotel. The breakfast wasn't that impressive and while staying during the weekend, there were huge queues and clearly not enough space in the restaurant bar. The room wasn't clean enough to... More

First Hotel Norrtull is an excellent accommodation choice in a beautiful city. The hotel had everything I wanted, including very clean rooms and excellent room service. The location is convenient enough, despite not being in the City center, it has good connection with downtown and Arlanda airport. Also is close to Odenplan, which offers many options for

I would not recommend this hotel. For the price of the room the design of the bathroom (an unusable sink due to large shelf immediately above it) and broken window opener was unacceptable. All coffee machines (in bar and breakfast room) apparently broken. Last year it was OK, but not this year.

Hi, I am so sorry to hear that your stay with us wasn't any good. Ok value for money. Clean and Calm and Nice old building a distance from the city centre. 10 min walk to the closest metro station. Breakfast was awful. Tasteless cheese, cold scrambled eggs, noisy and long lines to buffet. Small room lacking lamps, soap, wardrobe...

I was surprised by how basic this hotel was and I don't think I'll say here again. Pros: Free WiFi, friendly staff, comfortable bed and breakfast is included. Cons: Feels like a dorm...the hallways are a maze and smell kind of funny, the rooms are very small with no decoration, the bathroom is incredibly small with no shelf for toiletries,... More

This hotel is a bit like a student hostel the rooms are big but not cosy at all, also the heating is blowing air with a lot of noise and it isn't possible to switch it off. The breakfast is basic. The staff is very handy and very nice

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

“We booked a room for 3 people (2 adults+1 child) and found out in the hotel that there is no spare bed for the child and if we wanted one it would cost 300kr per night. The good thing was that we got to change our room to one with "king size" bed (which actually was pretty much just a normal doublebed). The hotel is big and complex and we clearly stayed in the "old side". The room was pretty small, the toilet floor was absolutely filthy, there was no soap (got more when we left the bottle wide open) and there were towels for only two people. We had to ask one set more every day although there was cleaning in our room (the cleaners obviously didn't bring us three towels although they clead out three...?). ”
