We booked a small double and, as other reviewers have noted, they do not have much space - however, they are perfectly equipped, and very comfortable; they also represent excellent value for money. Breakfast offers everything you could want ranging from Swedish specialities, such

We stayed here at the end of August and loved it. Our room was absolutely beautiful, decor was opulent but not chintzy and the fireplace was so lovely. Such a special place to come back to at the end of a day walking around Stockholm. It has a real feel of being in a historic bui

I have been lucky enough to call this my Stockholm home for another 2 years since my last review staying most weeks since then. This weekend my wife stayed with me for the first time. There was a note from the concierges, chocolates and a bottle of champagne on arrival plus a ver

I have enjoyed this hotel; its a boutique hotel with a beautiful lobby and very nice staff. Breakfast is excellent and the location is very close to all of the sites. I was on the 4th floor and had one bed. The room was quite small, but the bathroom was acceptable, with a good

Stayed in room 325, a spacious and comfortable room with a king size bed and a fireplace. Enjoyed delightful, old-school French food in their atrium restaurant. This is an old fashioned and probably quite old hotel, that has been lovingly restored and maintained. I’ll be back.

Hi, is the gym included in the room price or is there an add cost?
Dear Kai C, Thank you for your message and please excuse our delayed response. All our guest have complementary access to the gym and sauna; the official opening hours are 06:00 - 22:00, but should you feel the urge for a work out in the middle of the night, you can feel free to do so. Best regards, Hotel Kungsträdgården

I see the answers regarding Air conditioning but am wondering if these are true air conditioning units or the "green" evaporative coolers that do not work well in a humid environment. I have problems with mold and am planning a visit there in July when it can be somewhat hot and humid. Will plan on a larger room with windows that open. Thank you in advance for more details.
Dear jatenne9 Thank you for your questions. Our air-condition is a proper central air-condition unit. It works both as a heater in the winter and air-condition in the warmer, summer months. The temperatures can be adjusted independently in every room. Our hotel is quite new (we celebrated our second birthday in February) and have not received any comments of mould smells. I am quite sensitive to mould myself and know exactly where you are coming from. I am quite certain that you will find no problems at all concerning humidity and the smells associated to it during your stay with us. Please do not hesitate in contacting us directly if you have any further questions or if we can do anything in order to make your stay even more memorable. Best regards, Mathias Kick Concierge

Are there rooms facing the inside of the hotel instead of the outside?
Dear madmh321 Thank you for your mail and welcome to us at the Hotel Kungsträdgården in Stockholm. Our hotel is located in an old and beautiful building from 1750`s. Every room at The Hotel Kungsträdgården is unique, in order to cater for our different guests and the building’s historic architecture in the best possible way.
