This is a converted boat/ferry with tiny cabins. Sort of shelf at end of bed for suitcases, couple of hooks, and only one person can walk around at a time. Tiny en suite shower and toilet, don't put the spray towards the door or you can have a minor floor in cabin. We were only there for two nights so...

View: the boat is docked direct across the water from city hall. The view from my little round window framed the building beautifully. (And the window did open!) Comfort: yeah the room was super small but all I did was sleep and shower there. Why pay more for a big room? Location: only 5 minute walk from Slussen metro station...

The location is as good as it can be. It's a long walk to the underground station, the closest one I could find was Zinkensdamm (don't make the same mistake I did, Slussen is not closer and you will wander for a while). I didn't mind walking, as the weather was pretty good. Could be uncomfortable in winter, though. The...

THis is one pf the old ships that have been changed into a hotel, so expect small room, but with a porthole to look out over the harbour. The ship is just opposite the townhall, just 10 minutes walk from the old town. Breakfast is simple too, no hot items, which is a bit a pity. Still a very nice...

This was one of the best experiences of our lives! We had a lovely cabin with an amazing view! All in all everything was excellent at the hotel and the best thing was to sit up on the deck in the evening, having a drink and enjoying the view! Can't fault anything!

Quick overnight biz trip to Stockholm and i went for something a bit different than the norm. Stockholm is notorious for over priced, average accommodation so decided on trying one of the numerous hotel boats dotted around various locations. Firstly the thing to remember here is that its a SHIP. You get CABINS not rooms Its CHEAP...dont expect luxury, the...

Pros Basic breakfast and wifi included in the price. 10 mins walk from Mariatorget Station Cons Very environmentally conscious - they wash the sheets every 3 days Bed not very comfortable or clean to begin with! Restrictive height not recommended for people more than 6ft.2 Limited sea view ( porthole)

Extreme small rooms! Not clean either.... they are not cleaning much! I expect little bit more, no meter that is cabin! Room is very short, not more than 180 cm so if you are tall person not recommended :) Also the heating was bad and the outside temperature was very cold, since i was before 2 days! The location is...

Ok firstly, it's a ship so keep that firmly in mind when considering booking here. Secondly, the rooms aren't huge, it's a ship. Thirdly, it floats, it's a ship but it is well and truly secured to the wharf (it doesn't rock). Getting all that out of the way, we recently had four nights on Loginn and were delighted with...

Worth for the location and sights. You can go almost everywhere from there in a walking distance (if the weather is good). The Kajplats area has a stunning view of Stockholm city. Be aware that they have really small rooms (particularly the single/small room which are located downstairs and are not allowed to open the windows - but if you...

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariatorget
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
