We stayed for 3 nights in a motorhome. Contacted the park to verify that they had available sights and they were very helpful as it was a busy period. Accessible and very handy to public transport (train) into the city.
This is a RV stop that is both central and easy to access. Personnel is helpful and nice. It's a 30 min walk to the old town of Stockholm along the water.

Great convenient short-stay site within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the city. The wifi wasn't working when we stayed, and we had to move patch as we turned up without a booking. IT IS BUSY, so if you can book up ahead, do so!...More

Hornstull & Langholmen
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll
find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
