Arrived, after having made a booking. Specified in writing at time of booking that we needed 2 seperate beds as we are a mother and son. They booked us into a double bed. After making a complaint, they offered us two seperate rooms. This was ok but we wanted to stay in the one room. Hotel is convenient, near T...

We booked 2 double rooms and a single room. The single room did not have a shower and toilet in the room. One double room had a toilet but no shower. The towels in the room where still wet and dirty. The last double room did have a toilet and a shower but had mold in the shower. Carpets where...

For 70 euro in Stockholm you cannot expect too much. However this hotel was ok, the location very good (30 meters from Odenplan metro, 10 minutes walking from Central Station). My single room was ok, clean. Unfortunately the toilet was outside from the room, and it had a bad smell (so at the end was good to be outside the...

This is a very nice hotel, very clean, around 15 min. walking to the old town, with the metro and the bike rentals 2min walking. The service is 5*. I recommed this hotel for who wants a great value for money and doens't mind a little walk.

I noticed a that those travellers who complain about this hotel for the most part seem to have very unrealistic expectations on hotels in general. One can not, and should not expect a first class service at a hotel in the mid price range, that's not going to happen - ever. This hotel is fantastically located and it's clean. Rooms...

The hotel looked really nice on their website but unfortunately this did not reflect the reality a part from the fact that it is well located... We had booked a nice double room but ended up with a dump on the 3rd floor: the room was about 10m2 with a 120 cm bed, it was not clean, things were broken,...

I was impressed with the courtesy of the staff and the location of the hotel right near the Odenplan metro station near that area's shops and restaurants. Also good for buses to the suburbs. The room we were given would have been a good size single, but as a twin was rather cramped and the bathroom (or rather, shower room)...

We went with my family to stay here two nights. We got two rooms. My parents room was ok and quite big but the room me and my sister got was terrible. Trash left in the trashcan, dust all over the place. Also the toilet and shower smelled really bad. I got angry and complained and fortunately they gave us...

Our room was small, but not a problem since we spent very little time in the room. The breakfast was fine - a typical Scandinavian breakfast with a good selection. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Location was great, just a few blocks from the airport bus stop and near public transit. Using the wonderful, functioning antique elevator was...

Enough large 4 places room plus additional baby cot. Good location. Nice view at the Gustav Vasa church. Despite these fiew advantages, there was noisy from the street, not clean, old and broken shower equipments, very bad smell in the bathroom. Some of furniture in the room was broken. Insufficient number of places and no warm meal during breakfast. Very...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
