We stayed there three nights and enjoyed it a lot. Of course the room was quite small but that's a little bit what we were looking for; we wanted to try something different and did not regret it. The price was reasonable. We has a room for two on the upper deck, above the restaurant, so it was very quiet...

We had a wonderful stay at rygerfjord during July 2014. The staff was very pleasant and eager to assist in any way they could. The price point was very nice considering Stockholm is very expensive. The rooms are very small but that is really all you need when you are out exploring all day. (If you are the type that...

I spent 2 weeks on the boat a few years back and had no problems. Yes it is small and you do feel the boat rock, but I get seasick and had no issues. However it did start to feel like the land was moving when off the boat. I really like the breakfast, it has food that americans would...

We had a water front view room. Rooms are specious enough for a ship. ( compared with another hostel ship in Stockholm ) Beds are too small and short for a 80kg /178cm person. Staff are nice and helpful . highly recommend.

A hotel on a boat, a 5 minute walk from the old city. It sounds like a great deal but beware - if you choose to stay here there are several inconveniences that might ruin your night, as they did for me. Pros: - incredible location - cheap - immaculate bathrooms - cozy common areas Cons: - not enough bathrooms...

Stay on board of a decommissioned boat in one of Stockholm's many canals, right next to the city center. Great view of the city center, cosy bedrooms, all in all a good experience, good if you are single or acompanied.

Booked a stay on the boat for the experience being on the water especially since we had a visitor from USA with us. The cabins were very comfortable and clean as well as the shower rooms. We had cabins with big windows overlooking Stadshuset. Unfortunately due to the cold Midsummer weather the cabins were really cold and the radiators could...

The location is perfect, and it's a beautiful little ship. Do it when you have a sense of adventure. The staff is helpful and the common room was very comfortable. It keeps the furniture of the 40ties, when it was used as a ship in the Norwegian Fjords. We have been 2 times and for sure we will come back.

Prices for hotels in Stockholm where extremely high during the days we visited, therefor we decided to take a hostel. Rygerfjord charged us around 160,00 euros for 2 nights in a cabin, nr 109. Serice was fine, but the room was soooooo small, but yeah, what can you expect on an old lineship. However it was very charming, but make...

We stayed on the boat Rygerfjord III. Everything was brand new: rooms, showers, toilets, kitchen. Room was spacious for a boat cabin, and we had a very nice view of Stockholm. Overall it was a good place to stay, a bit expensive, but ok when compared with other places in Stockholm. 10 minutes walking distance to Slussen metro station and...

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariatorget
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
