It is less expensive accomodation in Stockholm. It is fun because the hotel is a boat. The rooms are very small, but pretty clean. The location is 10 min away from the Old town. So for the price I cant complain.

One of the first hostels we stayed at,we were surprised at the size of the boat, thinking it'd be bigger. Overall, was a pleasant stay. Good bar, good staff, bathroom was fair, and the beds were comfortable, once you actually got in them. The Location was excellent, within easy walking distance of Old Town and a nearby metro station. It... More

I crashed in this hostel during a solo trip in the spring. Was a magical moment even if stockholm was a bit depressin at that time of the year. Wifi is only available at the reception. The temperature in the boat is very low. The bedsize was too small for my 173cm. Some beds are not acceptable sizewise. The staff... More

I booked this hostel simply as it's a boat. It is centrally located (all metro services go through the nearest station, Slussen), and really close to Gamla Stan. The cabins are quite small, but for this type of boat that's to be expected. There is little ventilation so the cabin didn't smell great, and wasn't overly clean. There is WiFi... More

Apart of the awesomeness of sleeping in a boat in the centre of Stockholm, the view from the main deck at the sunset is priceless. Maybe the cabins are not too big and you need to rent or bring your own bed sheets, but we found them comfy enough. The breakfast wasn't included but I highly reccomend it, because the... More

I stayed in this hostel 15 years ago when I first visited Stockholm and now decided to revisit it again! Nice location, close to a lot of interesting sites to visit. Near supermarkets. The price is the best you can get in Stockholm. Internet not available in the room. If you are only for the night and don't need the... More

Four of us stayed here for a couple nights in October. This was my first time in Europe and my first time in any sort of hostel. Definitely an experience. We shared a tiny room with two bunk beds on either side. We had a porthole for a window and the bathroom was shared by all the females on the... More

Consider something else if you're not travelling with a really shoe-string budget. As someone else aready wrote, there's a damp, mouldy smell downstairs where the hostel rooms are located. The boat is also moving a lot, more than I expected. I complained about my room being really cold (naturally, because the heat was not on), nothing happened before I was... More

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
