My friend and I recently stayed at Hotel Esplanade for a girls' weekend in Stockholm. Hotel Esplanade is quite quaint & cozy hotel. It has an old world feel to it. Each room is quite unique with it's own personality. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. Although they didn't have two beds available, they did give us...

I visited the stockholm for 2 nights in order to watch the volvo sailing ocean race. Hotel Esplanade is perfectly located in the center of Stockholm right at the border of the water. The room had its charm with its old furniture. Allthough, it is very central, the room was very quiet and one could not hear the street in...

Next month marks our 20th anniversary staying at the Hotel Esplanade. Quite simply, it's my favorite hotel in the world. My wife & I love the Jugendstil interiors, its location (& views) along Strandvägen, the fabulous breakfast buffet, and the friendly, helpful staff. We were concerned last year with our first stay under the change of ownership. But they didn't...

Excellent vintage atmosphere, at a very central point in Stockholm. I really enjoyed sitting at the lobby with a nice view of the port. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, while all staff are very helpful. I totally recommend it.

Spent three nights here while working at the Vasa. The hotel has loads of character and is in a great location. Rooms are simply presented but more than comfortable. Next door you can get really good, quality food while the hotel does a great breakfast.

Actually - due to the location and the fact that it seems perfectly preserved in an almost surreal way from its 1910 origins, I would tend to give this place the highest marks. The weak and unstable internet prevents my full praise. Nonetheless, the people are nice, the breakfast good - the meeting rooms are quite lovely (lounge and breakfast...

This hotel is worn but in a good way. You immediately see this when you come in. In many ways it was like going to visit Grandmas house. Every one was glad to see you warm as they greeted you, whether it was 11pm at night or 6am in the morning. Just like Grandmas house the beds were worn but...

If you love old houses and the way they feel, you will like this hotel. It has it's flaws, but to a right person they will seem charming :) Friendly staff and a lovely breakfast, I like the wide spread of morning cereal and fruit. (Not everyone can eat bacon and eggs in the morning.) There was some little problems...
