We stayed here for two nights on a whim after leaving Finland. From the moment we walked in the reception staff were extremely welcoming! We had just caught the train in from the airport and after a short ten minute taxi ride we were at the hotel. I loved the layout and whole concept of this hotel! No space was...

Since I was a teenager, Micro has been my go-to hotel when visiting the capital. The rooms are clean and small with big comfortable beds. Perfekt hotel for when you're in town to actually be in town and socialise, not to hang out at the hotel. Friendly staff, clean and well lit shared bathrooms and perfect location minutes from shops...

We book this hotel as we needed an affordable place to stay for a last minute unexpected trip to Stockholm. The hotel isn't badly located, but it us about a 15 minute walk from the station. There are a few pleasant places for breakfast/tea/coffee nearby which helps. I would have rated higher, but there were there things that bothered me...

Value for money we thought that this was excellent - whilst slight dubious compared to other prices we had seen for hotels in Stockholm we went for Hotel Micro and weren't disappointed. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. The rooms are small, but adequate for 2-3 nights - they are below street level, so there are no windows,...

We stayed in hotel micro for 3 nights. Great location, very close to Gamla stan, many buzzing streets with shops, restaurants, cafes and King's garden for ice skating! Vasa museum and Abba museum etc were a fair walk but still accessible on foot. Short walk to central train station. Rooms are small and windowless as expected, bathrooms are shared but...

Dear Ally, Thank you very much for your feedback, it's important for us in order to provide the service we aim for to our guests. Hotel Micro is a cheaper option for the traveller who want a good nights sleep and nothing extra. If you want a bigger room with windows and beds next to each other I recommend you...

I had an excellent experience with this hotel. Let's be clear, there are no bells and whistles as the bathrooms are shared and the rooms have no windows. However, I had an excellent stay there nonetheless. The rooms are very quiet and clean, and the beds are very comfortable, making for a nice environment for sleep and relaxation (the darkness...

Located in the basement of a three star hotel, the entire aesthetic is reminiscent of a fallout shelter, a comfortable one I should add, in all fairness. Relevant things to mention would be that the rooms are small as the name would suggest, but the design of the rooms make use of what little space there is, so just be...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. We were coming to Stockholm to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and to do some sightseeing! The Hotel Micro is in the basement, with another hotel above ground level. Thus the rooms have no natural light and are a little stuffy. That said it is very central, the bed was very comfortable and whilst the room was small it was adequate for my needs. The bathroom was cleaned regularly. The hotel is very secure requiring key...

We stayed for 2 nights. The location is very good, walked to city center, close to central station. The Wi-Fi speed is fast, and shared computer is convenience. They provided free power adaptor. The room is too small for family trip, no any extras space for the kids.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
