We hiked the trail from Abisko to Nikkaluokta with a tent, but ended up finishing two days earlier. We gave Kerstin a call and she told us there was plenty of place left. We ended up being the only guests at this time.

Hey, are you arriving by plane? If so, there is a bus from the airport which takes you to the town centre. It is only a small place, next to the visitors centre, but the driver will let you know. It costs 100 SEK. When you arrive, it is a 10 minute walk to the hostel - google the directions but it's very easy, I managed it and I'm crap at navigating :)
