I booked a 2 night break for my husband, myself and 2 daughters age 4 and 8 for a trip to Alton Towers in Windy Arbours Bouquet Cottage. The farm is set in peaceful surroundings backed on all sides by open fields(no noise!!!) on arrival we were greeted by the friendly owners who were very warm and welcoming. The cottage...

We stayed 3 nights in the English Room while attending a nearby wedding. The bed & breakfast is fairly isolated, which only makes it better because of the views. (on top of a hill). The owners were very welcoming, and made us feel at home straight away. The room is fairly small, but has its own shower & toilet, flat...

We found this delightful B&B via a google search and we're glad we did! We stayed in The Japenese Room which is ideal for a family of 4 - although my two girls did fight over who was going to have the top bunk!. It was a very welcome rest from an active day at Alton Towers. Very comfortable beds...

What an absolute diamond of a place. We travelled from Wales to Windy Harbour in May of 2010 for my 20th Birthday, which was a treat to Alton Towers. In our group was my Sister (7), my Cousins (16,17) their boyfriends (18, 19), My Aunty and Uncle (38, 43) and my Father (40) - a bit of a mixed bag...

Gill and Dave at Windy Arbour really are the most hospitable and accommodating hosts it's ever been my pleasure to meet. They looked after our party of 11 as if we were part of their own family - way beyond the call of duty expected from any B&B. They have a warm enthusiasm for their job and their visitors that...

My sister and I visited for 3 nights to go to Alton Towers and the potteries, which worked really well, taking just 10 minutes to get to Alton Towers. We stayed in Bouquet Cottage (self catering), which was great fun for our two boys as it had a mezanine bedroom accessible via a ladder. The cottage was well equipped, warm...

Stayed for one night with my partner in the Library room. Very clean, warm room which was well equipped with comfy bed, tv, DVD player, generous amount of biscuits, tea coffee etc. Hosts were welcoming and friendly, quality of food and service at breakfast was of a very high standard. My only criticism is the boiler in the cupboard next...
