Friendly staff, clean room, modern hotel. Ideal location, close to downtown. Nice surprise: my room was ready for checkin at 10am! I had the chance to get a view to the water. You can rent a bike for 125DKK/day (25$CAD or $18US or 18EUR). Nice fitness room and sauna. Note for my North American friends: rooms are European sizes, so...

Thank you for your nice comments on your recent stay. The rooms are between 19 and 21 square metres. This is normal standard in Denmark. Thank you for your positive comments on our staff and the cleaning. We hope to have the pleasure of your visit again. Kind regards Anne Louise Poulsen General Manager

We stayed at the island hotel as a group of four in February. The hotel itself is clean and well presented and the rooms although small are smart and well equipped for a city break. On arrival we were offered an upgrade for early room access for 200 DKK which is a tad annoying as most other hotels will simply...

Thank you for taking your time to write your review. We are very glad to hear that you found the room. However, we are very sad that your check in and upgrade offer was misunderstood. Our reception will offer you another room type if the room type you have booked is not ready before 3pm. This is only meant as...

Great hotel. Lovely staff, really nice room (the cheapest option, facing the railway- still a good view), super comfy bed, squeaky clean. It's a 30min walk into the town centre, but you can hire a bike, and the walk is along the waterside anyway. Want to come back in summer for the open air swimming and boat hire. Felt like...

Good location next to a retail park, the Sound (waterway) and very handy for trains (4 minutes) to Copenhagen central station. Room was very clean, staff were helpful and rooms were warm. Only negative point was that if you arrive for breakfast within the last 40 minutes of service the choice was limited with popular items for example Croissants, mushrooms,...

I stayed here at Christmas time, great time to visit. It's far from the city but that is what I like about it. The views outside of the rooms are really nice. I would stay here again easily. The bed was quite comfortable, very quiet room also. Nice being close to a grocery store (in the mall next door).

I visited this hotel with my girlfriend to celebrate our birthdays (two weeks apart!), and I couldn't have been happier with the choice of hotel made by her part! The staff are very friendbly, helping and charming, the position is very good as you have Dybbölsbro and Köpenhamn H within walking distance, the hotel itself is super clean and modern...

It's a modern, nice hotel, located on the waterfront, near a huge shopping mall. Stylish architecture and design, I had a queen bedroom, with a beautiful view of the water. Good size of room and bathroom, adequate amenities, and a good temperature in the room, which is not always obvious. The only point I did not fully like was the...

We stayed here as a couple for a 3 night city break. The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk of a metro station which is only 1 stop from the central station, but most of the time we walked into the city. It was only about 15 minutes walk along the waterfront to the Tivoli area and so...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
