The Alexandra is an excellent place to stay in Copenhagen, the hotel has a theme, Danish design, and it's really well presented and organized, you're discovering a wide range of Danish designers and feeling really confortable at the same time, you don't feel like staying in a museum. I do recomend the corner rooms which have great views. The whole...

OK, firstly we all know that hotel in Copenhagen (like everything else!) are expensive but this hotel was good value for what you get compared to others in the city center. It's very central, clean, green and functional. I did have the breakfast (stupid price but again it's Denmark!) and nothing particular special but adequate and plenty of variety. Eden...

The hotel was really close to central station, at a short and walkable distance to Tivoli and lots of other parks. It's an environmentally friendly hotel so it does not have aircon (not that it gets extra hot in Copenhagen). Also, if you decide to not have room cleaning every day, they give you a brochure to expense at the...

The Alexandra is a boutique hotel in an excellent location, close to the train station, Tivoli and the Radhuspladsen. The staff were helpful. The room was small but comfortable, done in Danish modern style, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was outstanding: Danish style fish (gravlax, pickled herring, halibut) as well as breads, pastries, cereal, eggs, etc. We look forward...

The location is the best part of the Hotel. It´s close from everything, 3 minutos from Tivoli. The size room is quite OK for 2 persons. The breakfast it´s not included, you have to pay 10 euros por person, and we didn´t try it, we had our breakfast at the coffe shops around the neighboorhood. The staff is really polite....

Rooms were spacious and really charming (danish modern design). Lobby and staff were great, extremely convenient to main shopping street, Tivoli gardens and the hop on hop off bus stop - all within 5 blocks walking distance. Great hotel if you're looking for a danish feel for your stay.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Probably the only spot on Earth where you can sit in, rest in, sleep in and admire so many pieces of Danish mid-century vintage furniture. Hotel Alexandra is a small, authentic, boutique hotel in Copenhagen - just around the corner of the City Hall Square, the Latin Quarter, the main shopping area and Tivoli Garden. Hotel Alexandra has over the past years collected a large collection of the world famous Danish mid-century vintage furniture and decorated the rooms with them. The rooms also have textiles, wallpapers and other gems that take you back in time to experience living like the design loving Danes did it in the 50’s and 60’s. As soon as you step into the Hotel Alexandra, you step into a time bubble – you can relax in the lobby, where during evening hours you can put on your favourite vinyl record from our selection, enjoy a free glass of wine and take a moment to take a closer look at one of our many designer books from our lobby library, all the while being surrounded by the finest Danish designer furniture. ... more   less
