In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.

We didn't read the reviews before booking, maybe we should have! The rooms fitted a double bed-just a wardrobe and a sink. The shared toilet and shower were a bit of a surprise as I didn't expect two per floor of 6 rooms, and even though they weren't dirty they weren't

We stayed for 2 nights in August 2018 with our two young daughters. Booked well in advance and paid when we arrived. Bunk beds and a double bed. Good space, bathroom a great size and my daughters thought it was very cool. We were 403 on the 4th floor. So street views. Islands

Note the bedside shelving unit restricts access to the bedside mains socket.
This wide double-socket EU mains adaptor wouldn't fit the bedside socket.
Big enough for two ...
