This is a basic hotel and perfect for the explorer. Compact and efficient and meant to sleep and shower in. This is not a luxury hotel, but the bed was comfortable and the space was sufficient for what I needed. Reception was friendly and their...More
We went to Cabinn City expecting compact budget accommodation: it met this criteria. Where it surpassed this was: i) the friendly and very helpful reception staff ii) the convenient location iii) the generous common areas to relax in iv) the cleanliness v) the practical layout...More
Stayed in Cabinn City for two nights. It's located in a very lively area near Tivoli and a short distance from the train station.
We arrived early to the hotel and the front desk kindly assigned us a room. After our experience with smoke at...More
There were 3 of us in this room and it was tiny! The third bed is a pull out mattress on the floor and comfy enough but barely fits on the available floor space. Might have been more suited to only 2 people.
We booked this hotel for our pre and post Baltic cruise. The idea is that if the hotel is basic, in a central location and reasonably priced, since we're only staying 1 night each before and after our cruise, then let's book it.

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.

We took 2 city buses from Cabinn City Hotel to the Cruise Terminal this summer, transferring to the second one at Osterport station. The first bus picks you up a block from Cabinn City, and the second bus stops right at the cruise terminal. There is no train to the cruise terminal. Total travel time was 30-40 minutes. Google Maps will give you bus numbers and itineraries, but they are frequent. Obviously the cheapest option, and Danish public transit is as smooth as butter.

There is a train from Kopenhagen Central Station which is located a ten minute walk from the hotel. The train is extremely convenient, affordable, and only about a 15 minute ride to the airport. I wouldn't think of using anything but the train. The Danes really have their public transportation well figured out.
