Spent 4 nights at the scandic, wonderful friendly staff, great location and so so accessible to the centre by the metro. Beds extremely comfortable and shower was very powerful. The best part of the entire hotel was the absolutely stunning breakfast. An amazing hotel and made what was a fantastic little holiday! Thank you so much!

Strange check-in… As a frequent stayer, I’ve asked the(very young) guy at the desk whether he will consider giving me an upgrade. He answered “you already paid for a nicer room" and that they do not upgrade unless overbooked. Otherwise everything is OK, breakfast is pretty basic and so are the rooms. Free parking. Friendly employees.

This scandic is very nice and the staff are super helpful! I spent to nights here on a business trip. I had a meeting in their conference room that I came prepared for but as things usually go- there were some errors in what I was sent which means work had to be re done. I had to re print...

Scandic Sydhavnen is located in the southern outskirts of Copenhagen, 3 km from the city. There is absolutely nothing to see or do around the hotel it’s a boring business/industrial area. Best way to reach the hotel from the city centre is by commuter train (S-tog A or E) to Sydhavn station. 5 minutes from Copenhagen main station, and then...

Let's be frank: From the outside this hotel really looks like the most boring business-dump around and the surroundings are completely and outmost stinkingly bad. Take it from an old South-Harbour guy. But the hotel itself is actually not that bad. The rooms are quite spacious (from a European point of view!) and although the hotel was literally stuffed with...

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was also very good. And at first glance, the room looked also good. Until we found some blood on the wall, next to the bed. The sheets, also had some old blood stains in the bed. In the bathroom, there where old urine stains, the toiletseat was filthy (looked like it did not...

Over the past years I have spent several times in Copenhagen, most of the times in Bella Sky. Unfortunately this hotel gets more expensive every visit and breakfast is not included. This was my first time at Sydhavnen and it will definitely not be the last. It is a modern hotel with extremely friendly staff. Worked from the bar area...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
