If you're into prison roleplaying, gulag camp reenactment, you will definitely love this hostel, but for us, it simply ruined our stay in Copenhagen. First of all, the staff informed us that although I had a reservation for 4 people, 1 of us had to sleep in a separate room, without giving us any explanation, and no alternative, so I...

I stayed there for 2 nights. It was the cheapest in the city and i chose the 66bed room. PROs- the 66 bed room was very calm and clean, lights out at 10pm and on at 8am. nice reception area, nice backyard and front lawn. clean toilets and OK male showers. The meetpacking area with a lot of nightclubs, restaurants and...

Based on few traveler that already stayed in this hostel, this hostel was quite crowded especially at night. I stayed here before Midsummer Event for 1 day before continued my trip to Stockholm. What I found was I enjoyed stay here, with 4 female dorm There is open room to charge your gadget and chill out, perfect spot to have...

I arrived at CPH at 3 am and, although they were "fully booked", they found space for me and my traveling companion in a room in their basement for a reasonable price. We then stayed for an additional three nights in the 66 bed and then the 8 bed dorms. Both were clean and fairly quiet, cannot really fault. We...

Like many other backpackers, I chose City Public because it was the cheapest hostel in town - turns out it was also an amazing place to stay and really felt like home. All the dorms are sectioned in "compartments" of two bunkbeds so you have enough personal space if you just want some alone time, even in the 66 bed...

Fair price, clean ambient and well located! The hostel is nearby the main city attractions. Its a little bit expensive than another ones, but the location was important to save money and time for visiting the city center.

We weren't expecting much as it was pretty cheap, but the showers were nice and clean, and so was the kitchen. There were lots of pans and plates to use and everyone seemed to clear up after themselves, the kitchen was really big so there was plenty of space to cook, even at peak times. We were in a mixed...

I didn't like the hostel, but I think it is most suited for a backpacker. Copenhagen is very expensive and I'm sure this is one of the cheapest hostels here but still, it was like a home for the homeless. There was no breakfast, no linens included, no charging points inside the dorm rooms, internet was pathetic (it was so...

It was sub par, can do better. The toilets were not really clean. The beds are comfortable but there are no locks on the doors. It fits its price at least. Service was great! It's fine for one night but for longer stays might wanna reconsider.

Unfortunately my party and the other girl in our sleeping area all got sick from this place. We are leaving with sniffles, sore throats, and extremely tired. Bunk beds are so small that if you're a person with long hair I recommend you take a top bunk because otherwise every time you get up your hair will get caught in...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
