The Hotel Windsor in Copenhagen, Denmark is a typical pension. So, if you're looking for an American-style hotel/motel, the Hotel Windsor is not for you. But, if you're able to easily walk stairs and you're familiar with pensions, Hotel Windsor makes a geat choice. A far as pensions are concerned, the Hotel Windsor exceeded our expectations. Yes: The rooms are...

Did well enough for an affordable one night stay. Staff were very friendly and lovely. Location near the metro and central Copenhagen is great. However I would not stay for more than a night. There is a sink in the room, but the (very small, single) toilet is located outside the room. Shower room is old and also located outside...

This hotel is located in the city centre thus we could reach everything just by walking around. It is near the food market and other sights. We also liked that this hotel is not very big and you can not feel that there are a lot of people staying. On the other hand, the bathroom is quiet small and the...

Excellent central location and we had a great big size room but I was not sure about sharing bathroom. We did not need to worry, as it was just near our room and shower-room was clean and practical with 3 hairdryers.

If you look for a good nights sleep, look elsewhere. The walls are so thin you can't get a shut-eye from the neighbour talking, or walking on stairs (of which there's plenty!). The toilet and shower are on the corridor, so technically this should not be ranked a hotel but a hostel. Breakfast was good, tho.

The room was clean and very modern (black&white), the personal was friendly, breakfast was simple but good, location was perfect. You can walk almost everywhere. I was really happy with the hotel and I can recommend it.

Pros: VERY centrally located in Nørrebro - Nørreport station is not more than 2 minutes walk. Breakfast is fairly minimalist but for the price paid it is ok. There are rolls, cheeses, colt cuts, spreads, coffee and tea. Cons: Shared washroom with others Unpleasant smell in entire hotel Keys need to be collected at another hotel Hotel has a scaly...

Filthy, soap scum and fungus covered shared shower.Tiny shared corner Toilet with no water supply at basin tap. Bed bugs, noise from 0630 hrs due to staff setting up stingy breakfast. WiFi does not work except on Android/iOS devices, and it has a tracking trojan in it that my Windows machine detected. Don't bother ever staying here, you will regret...

Hotel Windsor is a stingy budget hotel (in Scandinavian standard) at a very good location in Copenhagen because the hotel is within walking distance to all major attractions in the city. You have to share washroom (toilet in Europe) and shower with other hotel guests on the same floor. Breakfast is skimpy but adequate. There is a huge market across...

I stayed here in September 2016 for 2 nights whilst visiting family in Copenhagen. The room was basic with a shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough and not too noisy until it got close to check-out time. Sharing a bathroom is not usually my preference but it was fine. What the hotel does have going for it is it...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
