Conveniently located and clean hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and rental bikes available from the hotel was a bonus. The room was clean and comfy although the bathroom was quite small. It's a shame shampoo and shower gel were not provided as we had to go and buy some to then put them in the...

Good location, very friendly staff, colleague and myself got a suite in the roof consisting of 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen/dining room with small roof terrace and 2 bathrooms.Rooms were clean and newly decorated, no problems at all. Bed was comfy and the room nice and quiet especially for a city centre. Breakfast was certainly adequate consisting of cereals, tea/coffee,...

The Hotel Sct. Thomas has been my go-to place to stay in CPH for several years now when I travel for business. It's very conveniently located, and a clean and friendly small hotel. However, the price of a room has increased substantially over the past year(s) and now I'm afraid the value for the money is questionable. A single room...

We have been recently at the Hotel Sct. Thomas for a short period of vacation. It has been a very nice experience. 3-star hotel in a good neighbourhood of Copenhagen (or Frederiksberg, which is a separate 'kommune' within Copenhagen). Modernised in a beautiful way, with old details (ancient escalator, for example). Free WiFi and breakfast if booked online. Small bathroom without a window, but everything was beautiful (except a slightly broken bathroom cupboard). Room was towards backyard with a view on a...

We had a large room which was well furnished with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful – especially the team of Receptionists. Breakfast was in the bright & airy semi basement which was fine. Comprehensive selection that was continually & promptly replenished. The hotel was kept clean and tidy. Like many others...

This establishment is better described as a hostel rather than a hotel. Staff are expensive in Denmark and it could be that this establishment has decided to keep them to the minimum. Reception can only be accessed after ringing the bell to be buzzed in through the locked front door. Thereafter you are asked to pay for your entire stay...

Nice hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel but modern facilities. Good points: friendly welcome from helpful staff, nice big room with view of the street, nice bed, everything clean, not bad value for Copenhagen, good location in a nice area with decent local bars and restaurants. Bad points: Bathroom rather small, not a major problem as I was only...

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
