If you prefer smaller, interesting hotels to large chains, this is a very good option for Copenhagen, which does not have a great selection of boutique hotels. The location is great for walking to sights and restaurants all over the city. Compared with its sister hotel, Ibsens, this hotel offers more of the features one typically expects: wardrobe for unpacking,...

The kong Arthur was a nice hotel, but for what you pay I don't think it quite reached expectations. There are some nice aspects like the free drink in the bar each afternoon, however the quality of the room was a bit below standard. Another aspect which they could improve is the desk staff did not have a great idea...

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Due to the hotels location, just 5 mins from the metro, we were able to walk to all the tourist attractions. On arrival we received a free upgrade to a junior suite which was very good. We would stay at the hotel again and we...

The hotel and the rooms had a lovely boutique atmosphere. The buffet breakfast as well as the restaurants on site were wonderful. We were there over Christmas and somehow it slipped my mind to make a reservation for a Christmas dinner (knowing from past travels that everything open would be completely booked). The staff went above and beyond for us and...

4 relaxing days in a wonderful hotel with the most friendly staff. Like coming home :). The hotel has a great atmosphere and the 'cozy hour' is a nice idea - especially for business. Breakfast is great and the service perfect.

Nice Hotel - close to the center of Copenhagen. Many different restaurants and cafés in the nearby area. The beds are great and the breakfast is the best in town. I can only give my best recommendation for this hotel.

Stayed at Kong Arthur for three nights following a cruise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered a free glass of wine between 5 and 6 each afternoon. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were adequate except for the towels and soap. For two people there were exactly two towels and one washcloth. There was one other...

Very good location, very clean, a proper 4* hotel with excellent sevices. Only negative the fact that the stuff didnt inform me that the minibar is NOT free of charge and so I ended up paying extra money at check out.

A great atmosphere, very nice room and delicious breakfast. The "cosy hour" seemed a great success with a great vibe. We will certainly be back and also recommend this place to friends and colleagues.

Small and impractical room, curtains could not be completely drawn, no functioning WiFi and damaged internet cable, noise from elevator and pipelines. This area should not have been used as a guest room, because it reduces the good quality of the hotel.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Kong Arthur is situated right between the beautiful inner lakes of Copenhagen and the buzzing downtown, only 15 min. from the airport by metro. The style is exclusive and modern with a hint of medieval - we call it a mix of rustic and chic. The atmosphere is cozy and informal: A lit fireplace, comfy sofas, pillows in the window sill, a stack of books on the shelves, beautiful courtyards adorned with green plants, cobbles and a unique peacefulness. ... more   less
